Buff to benediction is not a problem, it sucked hard. But ability need to have a shield restriction(iirc last time i checked). Book WP is overtuned.
This is a mele ability if I associate correctly and very high in the middle tree so there is no risk that Book WP will ever use it.

I'm really against all these undefendable skills. Building up defenses is a RR / gear investment which should not be so easily discarded by undefendable skills. I'm also very not fond of a class supposedly more defensive than DoK getting (currently) also more offensive power than its destro counterpart.

That absorb shield still sucks on DoK. It's high up in the melee heal tree and requires striking someone in melee range, which just doesn't make sense if I am heal spec. Better for me to focus on healing people, not running stupidly into melee which sets back casted heals and/or kills me. Not, could it be useful for shield spec dok, perhaps, except shield spec is an utter joke in PvP and this won't change that.

Its still a 2s melee cast making it completely worthless, whatever points you may or may not have this isnt an indicator of the WP being OP, its an indicator of terrible design and a bad ability all round.

Incidentally wot blocka on the SH used to be undefendable on live until it was changed, undefendable attacks are not a good design point regardless of how bad the ability still is and was discarded for fairly obvious reasons as a premise by Mythic.

Tell me you never played a ranked 6v6 match without telling me you never played a ranked 6v6 match. Shield doks / wps were absolutely killing it the last couple of years to a point where teams doing training matches agreed beforehand whether both would bring shield wps / doks or none, because of how dominating they were.

Keep buffing already overpowered classes! Seriously, don’t you think some other classes deserve a bit of love too? What’s up with this policy I just can’t wrap my head around... I thought a DPS rework was supposed to happen, but instead we’re getting it in dribs and drabs—and only for classes that are already way too strong compared to the rest. In the land of promises, we’re starving.

We're talking about now, not 2 years ago, mr smartypants. obv it's a very diff class and spec now. believe it or not, there used to not even be a shield spec...wow, i know crazy right :D
