Shield spec is still a strong spec, it's just not as grossly op as book spec and since book is retardedly easy to play it currently makes no sense to go for a spec that needs more effort to play and still get worse results.

But instead of toning down book, they buff shield, so it gets closer to the former. "**** every other healer in the game, as long as my class shines."

Currently many premades run double WP / DOK in dps and book comp because of how insanely strong they are. If the classes don't get toned down we gonna see them run triple WP / DOK: Shield, Dps and book / chalice.

Maybe then the run of the mill player questions if the class is a tad bit overpowered.

Hey,

Nice patch, just a small comment :
I saw in your video (great addition to patch note) that fleshrender will require 2-3 ppl, making it harder to get for new player, not sure it's a good thing.
Nerf it, reduce hp regen or delete item, but making it harder to get = more expensive and again a bigger gear gap between new and old player (who already has the ring).

Cheers

- Badlands and Order Warcamp
- Avelorn East Postern PvE Route ( going in unflagged )
- Chaos Wastes North Keep PvE Route
- bunch more PvE routes...

So what will be the golden standard rule here?
For Badlands, Order's Warcamp buff ends far up the hill, and extends east towards the northern Road, not the direction of the keep. Because of the instant RvR flagging that occurs in T2 and T3, it's also impossible for Order to get anywhere near that postern without being fully RvR flagged.

In the Badlands vs KV comparison, Order still has a slightly faster drop into the keep (provided they go off the hill and don't take the road), and Destro still has a closer warcamp buff, and (currently) are able to run a fair distance towards the walls / north post without being RvR flagged. It's not perfect yet, but we're slowly bringing in the outliers.

As far as PvE Routes and getting into keeps unflagged goes, this is also on the team's radar and the RvR group has been discussing it. Expect to hear more on this in the future!

In terms of changing the lay out of maps and acces points to them, are there any plans on changing the current layout?
Like changing the Order Caledor exit from warcamp or moving the guards forward a bit like to the bridge and bootom of the hill? OR adding a second exit?
Or mby by adding teleports?

The team can always have a look. As mentioned in the notes, we appreciate players letting us know specific areas that they feel would benefit from updates in the future, similar to how you did here!

Glad you liked the video! A new editor did some great work on this one, and I also felt they did a great job, so hopefully you'll see more of them in the future. :)

For Fleshrender, good question. We noticed that in a lot of cases, people were soloing this boss on farm the moment it spawned, but not always actually putting the items onto the AH. We'll keep an eye on the price of the items and see how the player market around them balances out in the coming weeks.

Tyrodan wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 4:04 pm The other day I called out the balance team for DOKs / WPs outperforming other healing classes already across all types of content...

... and now they get buffed even further. Absorb shield with only 10 secs cd while all other healing classes have 20 secs cd on theirs, while buffing the next heal by 35% ON TOP. And this on top of WPs already getting an insanely good absorb-aura.

Sorry but **** this balance team. Don't care if I get banned. This is bullshit.
Buff to benediction is not a problem, it sucked hard. But ability need to have a shield restriction(iirc last time i checked). Book WP is overtuned.
This is a mele ability if I associate correctly and very high in the middle tree so there is no risk that Book WP will ever use it.
One could probably access it and incorporate it with +2 sov bonus in some builds, although book WP may not wish to expose themselves in melee range.

Point is, complaining about Shield WP is kinda silly, who is playing that anyways. Everyone plays a Book WP and it is overtuned ( i am saying this as an Order player myself).

This whole rework of the WP made the best spec(salvation) even better. Shield WP is meh. Dps WP still the only melee without a gap closer, gg.

Also Divine impact is still not a good 9 point skill with undefendable, it's just less bad but still bad overall.

Please could you revert this change. BS is the most annoying and longest dungeon, we really don't want 4 runs, 2 runs was perfect.

If you think Divine Impact is bad, then you are most likely a solo player. Divine Impact is mandatory in smallscale fights (scenarios, 6v6), and if you understand the concept of burst damage, you'll realise why.

A mediocre ability which didn't even exist prior to the healer patch is now mandatory? Oh please :) . It is not mandatory for anything, just a painful reminder of an opportunity lost of giving WP dps something it actually needed( hint: like a gap closer or KD, imagine having that as a melee spec in this game).

It's just an extra, a filler with a slow 2 S akward cast melee ability(victim of lag and ping) with a debuff which isn't even great after buff to avoidance stats patch. The solo mantra as an excuse for a poor implemented ability ? That one never gets old. :)

To clarify on this, it's still just 2 runs to get the Bloodlord weapon that most DPS classes want. The Quests, which require 4 runs to get the guaranteed gear, have also not changed. It was 4 runs to get the cape for years up until a recent bug, which has been fixed.
