Eh.. no? You still have the 350% lifetap baseline, and now an additional base heal (the only part which is affected by heal debuffs, but also is unaffected by absorbs and misses).

And unlike AM/SHM you don't pay with a 50% damage reduction for it.

450% heal channel is better than 350% with a pretty small heal. But what ever man. Now people might use it to proc the self absorb tactic but i dont channel often as shield since you gonna use the sigmar will. They need to make divine strike aoe heal like that gonna be able to heal in wb a bit.

But it is not like these things are new. They have been discussed and numerous methods of balancing or completely altering to make evenly good/bad have already been thought of. Is this a new rvr group or new players, or new to the game and need time for extra research? Come on it's an old old Olde thing that was never solved, and now it is tradition?

If a committee is paid hourly then the meeting will last all week., if they are on a price it will be decided before lunch. The pay being the benefit from the changes; and hourly or price, depends on your preferred faction.

Gj job giving healers strong spammable instacast dots, thats totally not annoying as hell and completely balanced. Also good on you to lower their ability to heal while doing that cause doing both would be really stupiiii oh wait.

gcd spent on dot as a willpower healer is usually not worth it

It should be roughly the same healing just looking at the numbers, you don't have divine fury as shield spec anymore so the channel doesn't do that much dmg maikng the~250-300 heal instead of extra 105% not that bad of a swap. Also assuming it was 455% before with the tactic and not 380% I don't think I ever tested it so I'll take your word on it. Probably slightly worse overall accounting healdebuffs, but also accidentally hitting absorb at least heals something now and the heal part benefits from bond by blood/exalted defences to offset it a little, or can proc self absorb if you wanna go that route.

Idk if shield is still back though, the 13 pt ability does seem very good now vs the useless trash it used to be, but the overall healdebuff weakness of the class mainly IB/BG having those long outgoing healdebuffs likely masked by many other random aoe things(dok can't even self cleanse the IB one), and less damage makes the whole spec feel like why not play chalice/book instead.

sure, thats why there's gaziillion of shamans and zealots running around and dotting everyone. and when i finally catch up to them, cant do anything to them. or maybe thats cause devs neutered knight too much.

True probably around the same. I still think the only thing missing is divine strike aoe heal to make shield viable.
