Alot of really good stuff in here!
But the Live event with a "fear of dying" reward buff... Kinda seems like a big mistake, as the current action is already too turn-based push/pull and this might even further enforce it.
The game needs to go back to pvp were both sides are fighting ,not taking turns having the push momentum only to get counterpushed while willingly pulling out and not fighting back, and both sides at no point fully commit and swing at eacother.

My experience today: I logged in hyped for the event, I read the event requirements, lost all hype, and I then logged out. The requirements are exaggerated. The event should be fun and interesting, not a horrible grind.

Couldn't agree more there. Here's my perspective, I exclusively solo roam so whilst I'll have a 90% winrate in 1v1s i will stack this buff up as finding a good duel takes time and ill get rolled by WBs constantly seeking them out. I don't want an advantage when i finally get a good 1v1, totally undermines the spirit of competition and more skill-centric approach that 1v1 players crave. We 1v1 because we're sick of zerging free renown, we want a skill-based game and being able to stack buffs between fights will destroy that.
Please get rid of it, it serves no purpose from what i can tell + incentivises running from fights because of the perceived prestige lost if you do stack it up. It works against conflict drivers imo.

Kinda similar experiences for me today. I either faced people who had increased stats from the buff and did alot of dmg to me or otherway around.
