Bug Fixes
- The damage bonus from turrets now works like the tooltips say, +4% damage per stack up to a maximum of +20%. Previously they gave +5% per stack, up to a maximum of +40%.

This is not a Bugfix.

The Damage Bonus change was part of the career rework in July 2017 when the Turrets got their distinct buffs with Range increase (Gun Turret), Dot increase (Bombard), Aoe Cap and Dodge increase (Flame Turret).
After week one, the Turret bonuses were reduced as they were a little over the top.
The +40% on Damage made the class viable.
The Bug was that the tooltip never was updated to the 40%.

actually engi/magus changes from 2016 viewtopic.php?f=42&t=17514  why current devs think ppl have short memory?

And I think that is the one possitive to take from this.
More variety.

But the Caster inside me is also raising an eye brow because when was the last time anyone complained about BW/Sorc, honestly..
Instead since sorc and BW were slowly getting replaced in orvr with more classes, a welcome change! we have seen Hold the Line getting a 5% damage reduction stacking effect on top.
If we are in melee range we have to fight through Challenges and Bellows like other mdps, but with less mobility to flank around the sheild wielding tanks to get out of HtL effects and vs healers they get higher disrupt chance from their base willpower.

With that being said we have the benefit of resist mitigation instead of psy/ws/armor.

All I am saying, is that if the core issue lays in ranked 6v6, is anyone then complaining about BW/Sorc in there, as these are the two classes who are getting affected the most from this. And lets not fool ourselves into thinking that we are anywere near a BW/sorc bombing meta in orvr either. So again I am simply wondering, WHY are we getting TB NOW?

Specing a Caster right now you can go for crit and mainstats offensively.
Defensively you can pick between Deftdefender amazing stat value, FS, and now Trivial Blows.
Sorc and BW will still spec the same way but yet an other caster counter is being added.

When do we get a teleport to help with mobility in return instead of pushed further and further out of any 6v6, orvr, city play?
I heard the rumor that devs think casters are too dominant in RvR. You must be 2 years late on that opservation, but now you push slayer even more in the driving seat because guess which class will love this patch in cities and ranked. Bingo. The class with no crittatic and sustain from repeated autoattacks with a healdebuff on top of id and rampage.

Different builds to increase already long ttk
seriously tho... i have FS3 on both mara and bg, dont think i will replace it with TB, TB is hard counter to sorc/bw for sure, but spending rr points just to counter 1 class seems unrealistic.

I don't play magus or engi, but I feel bad for them. They didn't excell anywhere, but weren't harmless either. 20% is huge.

Idk man, we are pretty much theorycrafting here, but TTK is already very big, and crit spikes are sometimes only way to kill, especially in ranked or smallscale when both parties have pretty much BIS and when survivability was not an issue for any class except probably AM/shammy, why this change was necessary is beyond my understanding.

A reminder that engi Bombardment Turret is still doing physical dmg. Made a bugreport more than a month ago.
