You can make one more thing. Its turn off the sound, trust me, your game is trying to load sound for every spell around you and so on. Its not related to graphic so most ppl miss on it, but its a huge fps drop that makes game slutter or even kill it at times.

What I see on my Pc is that if the funnel gets serious my Pc stops playing a lot of sounds.

So yes. Turning of your sounds would increase fps.

I am very curious about the 4GB patch here.
I applied the patch but I don't think it worked or did anything. Is there anyway to confirm that it's working?
My War.exe is only using around 1.2 GB of ram and still is listed as 32 bit process

Another trick which could help is to configure pagefile to a set size.

should work for any windows system.
I have noticed this issue is worst when setting this option to "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives", or, "System Managed size".
Start->type "system"->Advanced->Performance->Advanced->Virtual Memory->Change
I think it is best to set to Custom size Initial and Maximum to same "recommended size".

I've noticed large 'hang' when gameplay particularly when using browser at the same time, which could potentially create a scenario where Windows wants to change the pagefile size - which causes about a 10 second system freeze- and possibly disconnection when playing game.

the symptom being for me a long hang (5-10seconds), then crash to main menu.

Are you checking the ram usage during large scale fighting at keeps/when you lag?

It could also just be an engine limitation that LAA won't solve, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to say for sure.

Hm, didnt want to open a new thread so I thought it would fit here (a bit).
My main char WL - I try to connect and always get back to character selection after a while.
I Chose my twinks. Works fine. I disconnect and voila I can connect with the WL now. Known bug?

Are you in a guild?
If yes:
Yeah, known one. According to GM's its kind of alliance bug, ask for a kick from guild (tho it wont help you, but you will be able to log in at least).
Got this on my main, tried everything, deleted quests from chars, deleted events stuff... Nothing helps
