Exceeded experience limit

I finished a long battle in keep after the lord reset multiple times. I received a message that said I exceeded the experience limit and it was blocked. It appears I received no experience at all. But when zone locked I did get exp. Why would I get nothing when the keep locked?

Yup happened to me a couple weeks ago on an alt, , same thing I earned 90600 experience, but it exceeds what the system allows, and has been prevented, So I received zero experience.

This is in place because we've seen very high XP values get stuck in a loop and boost a character, or guild, to max rank in an instant. Occasionally it does hit someone that had large accumulations of XP, but I thought the cap for objectives was adjusted to be below the XP removal cap.

Might be something for the bugtracker. If you frame the issue properly of course. Otherwise it will get closed out because technically the XP removal cap is working as expected.

it just happened to me on a t4 lock. 0 xp for the lock after several hours of fighting
the amount would have been somehow ok for my r 27 (if its that 80932; doesnt sound abnormal to me)
i did get the 10k renown though

This was closed by me, cause its _not_ a bug. We want to prevent extrem xp gaining cause this leads into
more problems after that.

As it´s OK for you - it´s not OK for me (only me - this is not a team statement). 80k exp only for a flip / every kill
gives also exp / kill quest on top etc would be too much.

If you want to change this complete prevention of getting excessive exp you can use the suggestion forum to discuss it.
