Emotes and assist not working

For past few months I have an issue with missing emotes. I can't use any - the list is empty. What might be a reason for that?

I don't know if it is related but I'm also having problems with some / commands. Some of them work, others don't. Expecially /assist seems to be not working. If I right click a person and choose assist - targets are marked but neither macros nor typing the command manually work.

I performed a repair, removed/fixed faulty addons and still nothing. Am I missing something? I have the newest versions of Enemy and Swift Assist installed.
