WLs is a best OP of RoR in this moment... Armor pen is ridiculous and you receive crit tact in T1 O.O hahahahaha

Big on whine, low on solutions

Something like "if player class is white lion or squig herder and they receive debuff "detaunt" then apply debuff to any exisiting pets as well for the duration it is on the class"

would be simple enough to code and alleviate some pressure in a small scale environment

This is a good point that is sometimes hard to remember.

This game is built around rock-paper-scissors balance. Everyone is supposed to be able to win against some, lose against some, and draw against others.

Yeh, it sucks losing to white lions, but it balances out with how often we win against slayers, or most tanks, or bright wizards for example.

And you have to start the fight in the open field, a single mistake and you're dead. BiS WL will take half of your hp with one auto and skill cast. You just have to accept that you can't kill everyone. Like WL can't kill a regen tank.
100%
I would just add that WL can just run from regen tank while running from WL...

My bet on a good encounter (having range to engage) would be kiting while focusing presumably faster pet as they go down rather fast. Then switching to Wl, disarm, getting stuck on that little twig you didnt see while kiting and pay the healer.

The only practical advice i can give is to CC the pet and kill the pet if possible. Use terrain to mess with pets pathing to gain more distance (like big stones, trees). If you play enough you will recognize parts of the lakes where you can use pet pathing to your advantage.

With Pounce alone a WL should not be able to get you.
As a WL Main i have to agree that SH have a lot of disadvantages. But as Tisaya said, regen Tank spec are the nemesis of every dps WL

WL has all the utilities of cc and abilities to chase down anyone.

All games have the easy I win class for kids. This is RoR's easy mode class.

Imo.
