Coming back to my rSH after a few years, figured I should see how the standards have changed.
I used to run 13/0/12 for Finish 'em and Rotten Arrer/Shootin wif da wind. Anything changed these days, or is that still kinda standard?
RR72 currently for reference.

i guess there are no current buildz bc rSH is not in a great state after all the nerfz. wanna try it on mine aswell
€: i mean no one is using run away or red tipped arrer for a reason. bc they butchered his trees pretty good

rSH is in a great state after the changes and probably needs to be tuned down. It destroys targets without even hard casting, just with instants and auto attacks. If you have issues, you are doing it wrong. Smh, this is why destro players consistently demands nerfs. If anything, it requires changes that more build options are reasonable for ranged.
Regarding the build - yes everyone uses it like that. I personally use the red tipped arrer intstead of shrapnel.

What about gear for a standard ranged squig herder?
Still 5sov/4triumph?

This for most dmg afaik, personally I prefer 6pc tri and 3sov for soloing to have that extra bit of hp

Re: [rSH] Up to date builds for roaming / solo?
This is the build I run with:
RoR.builders - Squig Herder
Damage output is great but I miss a bit of utility by choosing the arpen tactic over a skill. In the past I tried building for more survivability, with auto-detaunt tactics, run away (tactic and skill), trying to get more toughness/armor/avoidances. But it just never seemed worth it, as a rsh you're always gonna be squishy. Building for damage just felt more rewarding for me, and I just accept im gonna die a lot if I can't kite.
Gear wise, you can look me up on killboard if you wanna see specifics.
I decided to go for a crit build on my squig. Mostly because I'd recently got dps gear for my BO and shaman, and they both went warlord so I wanted to do something different. But I dont regret it, building for crit is fun!
Im 5 sov / 4 tri with 2 annulus crit rings. Fortress weapons. I sit at 48% crit. When I've played with similarly ranked squigs running usual warlord / tri, our overall damage output is roughly the same over the course of an evening. I think im marginally less dps, but i have more survivability so i can fight longer, balancing things out.
