To be clear, i only wonder if there is a way to hide it client side. As in, what shows on my monitor. Obviously it would be cheating to hide it from other players as it is an indicator of what auras are active.
The graphical effect is absolutely god awefull in my opinion. When standing on the ground its kind of off center to the back of my character. When mounted, its this bizarre shimmering cloud of purple muck that floats just above my shoulders.
Im sure some people love looking at it, and that's cool. But for me , its so aesthetically horrible it keeps me from enjoying playing the class. I found a cryptic post from a long time ago claiming that the LibSlash addon could hide it. But i was only able to find this through chatgpt, and i have a feeling it was hallucinating. I did try downloading Libslash and using the suggested /hide aura command, but of course it did nothing.
Thanks.

Only option I know is setting SFX to "none" under "play ability effects on" in graphic settings, but it will disable everything saving targeted area ground effects (shaman/AM puddle and such).
