which caster for dps/self-healing

Hello there,

the playstyle I like to play in every mmo is hybrid rdps/self-healing, like the warlock in wow.
I would like to dot/dd the enemies, have a little of survibility and some self-healing, and when needed be capable of being in wb/sc.. is this too much?

So I was trying to figure out which class suits better for me.
I would like to ask you a general overview of every interested classes for this role, in this case:
- runepriest
- zealot
- shammy

I read many forum's topic about it, and it seems like the best is da shammy while rp/zl have dps lack.. is that true? I was thinkin to roll a rp or zl dps :) , im not so in love with the shammies..

I will be 60% of the time solo roaming, 40% wb and scenarios

thank you guys and happy new year

AM/shaman is basically affliction lock, would be a good fit for you.

they're more aoe dps orientated. dps zealot can be good st, but relies heavily on its M1

There is no similarity between Am and afflcition lock besides them having damages over time.

Am are better dps wise, they have a better healdebuff and till not long ago had an extra dot but that is not the case anymore.

Shammies are better healers, they have an extra hot they can use on the move and their tactics are better suited to be harder to catch and kill.

Overall, you can do fine on both, the point i was trying to make is that having damages over time doesnt make you an affliction lock, yeah they have a lifetap dot but the similarities end there.

Hmm not true. Am is the better survivor in dps spec and sustained dmg. Shammy has massiv more burst dmg than am But less survivor abbility in dps spec. Zealot is a aoe dps Fluff creator.
