Anyone who has ever tested it know if abso and exit wound fire based off your main hand or off hand weapon?

Im broke as a joke and was wondering if i were to try and get a boundless weapon which one i should go for.

Uh... The DPS on the weapons only affect your auto-attack damage. So it doesn't matter which you get for Ability damage, but I would say go for the Sword. 2 reasons

1. I prefer the Eternal Pistol for the parry. But to each their own.
2. Dual wielding gives a % chance for your off-hand to hit on each attack. The Attack speed on your offhand is irrelevant, so the theory goes that you want a fast attacking weapon in your main hand to get as many offhand attacks as possible, but your primary DPS should be in main hand since that will attack with every auto attack tick.

Hope that helps!

ability's damage before mitigation = base value + (main hand weapon dps value + 0.45 x off-hand weapon dps value + damage bonus) x effective cast time

(effective cast time is a multiplier. Its value depends on the ability being used.)

that is the ability damage formula for melee abilities. know what you are saying before you post please.

PS: that is formula confirmed by dev team that is used in RoR

Ouch.

I was unaware of that. As are a very large number of people.

I'll go shut up now.

Lol hope you were not serious! WH's are good as they are and need a few minior tweeks only and maybe a few bugg fixes.

WH's finishers are already supergood so need to make them better I think.

Both exit wound and abso were parried on live not dodged as it is now people dodge from behind and when people use hold the line it just gets that much harder. The ability is fine when its parried but as it stands now its beyond frustrating having the biggest part of your burst get randomly dodged with 0 counter play.

As far as I know from what I've heard from devs the WH finishers still go through a parry check and dodge is just what is displayed on screen. So they are actually getting parried when you see that. Maybe someone can confirm this.
