Best Farming Class?

First of all, thanks for reading and responding to this.

I literally want to setup a character for farming gold on Destro side and was reading up a few things.

1. Im looking for a class that can AoE farm comfortably.
2. I dont care about the race, just damage output and being able to self sustain.

just sell what sells on ah from cultivation. this way you can play the game (pvp) and it will cover all your potion and talisman needs. id rather not play at all if i had to play pve in this game. just looking at the npc stiff animations with zerio variety makes me want to puke.

anyway to better answer your question: dok/wp, engineer, kotbs. you can butcher scales for armor potions or farm champions for talisman frags i guess

I hear you, Im just doing a farm character to feed my main with gold so that they can purchase things, other than that i hear you!

however on my last journey to 80 i just ran culti + apo and ended up with around 2k gold and nothing to really spend it on so just play the game tbh. theres not much to spend gold on

Dual wield dok. Easy to gear up as well if you want to get into bloodlord you can do it in a week no issues as everyone is always looking for healers and you can shield heal everything.

Thought mara would be the best when I started playing years ago due to monstro proc, but it's clearly dok and not really close. Overall aoe dmg output doesn't matter as much in pve farming as you're usually on a rotation of spawns, and any running around to find more is going to negate all the damage mara does above and beyond dok.

Years ago during a double xp I took my dok from 22-40 in like 3 hours. Took like a week to catch up in renown but whatever.

And that was before dok changes, I think it'd be even quicker now with Khaines Imbuement and Essence Shatter.
