Those are valid anecdotes.zulnam wrote: Sun Nov 16, 2025 9:10 pm Whenever I see these posts I remember that one time i was in a guild and during a casual night with no WB, we actually had two premades going and both managed to end up in the same Nordenwatch scenario. So we were 12 people on discord, in end-game gear, versus pugs.
We lost. Cause people were focusing too much on fights and farming the enemy instead of capping flags. And cause we were a bunch of friends playing chill.
On maps with multiple objectives that are not locked by each other, premades are not the god mode people make them out to be. They only dominate King of the Hill type scenarios or the scenarios that have flags locked by other flags (which personally I dislike). So if you reverted Praag Ruins back to not being flag-locked (i.e u can cap any flag), premades stop dominating.
I am in favour of this solution, along with others that were recommended in the past (get rid of the red wall, add guards and make it possible to punt into them etc). But banning premades altogether or making separate queues, no.
This is a competitive game and the people who put the most effort into it should have an advantage. Once they ban premades what's next? Ban potions?
But lets dont asume that its a race game and team who will get point faster will win sc.
Its also problem that scenarios mechanics dont gratify effective competative gameplay.
Yes team 1 can kill team 2 but there is no sc that give point for effective CC ( for example)
There is no straight forward sc mechanism that
say " pount opponents tank into lava get a win point.
Its shortening thinking proces but you got the impresion
