Its just means Choppa>Slayer. I think the gentleman wanted to say Slayer, but he didnt want to be seen order biased.
It means that Order players prefer playing either WHs and rDPS rather than serious WB compositions. While mDPS train is still meta on destro and Choppa outshines Marauder and mSH. Choppa certainly isn't better for WB than Slayer, because Shatter Limbs is insane both in offense and defense.
Jokes aside order is simply outnumbered most days lately. Also destro has more organized wbs normally. That is why.
So, if Slayer isn't worse than Choppa, then Slayer is fine *shrugs*.

I didn't play it before, so can't comment on the 1300 AA crits from the old dmg buff, that does sound sick!
This game is hardly ever 1v1 these days. A 30% snare while chasing is almost always better to any group, big or small, than a personal 35% move buff that is removed on any action.

Neither are fine, but they are not “useless”. The yellow change was bad.

My memory was that the ranged finishers change was made during live, so I took a few minutes to go see if I could find out.

I can't find the specific patch where it was introduced, but looking at the available abilities database from WarEmu - which I believe was taken from 1.4.8 - finishers were definitely at 30ft range when live ended.
Could be, i cant really remember anymore since its been so long ago and i barely played 1.4.8 on live.

All the intresting/cool changes u made to Tactic, some skill and such are just made completly bland and non effective due to this one change u did. Cant convince me to say anything positive about this so called rework to Mdps aslong as this in effect, class just got killed and it was already bottom tier.

Tought a rework actually came with new options... no not at all. Just overall worse for SL/CH
Completly pointless! I guess thats why there are like 4 of players out of 10 playing those classes in monthly KB.
They lead or are the primary assist on Warbands on Destro. Choppa/Slayer 2 wep build is still a killing machine on both sides is you support it - especially on Destro where the meta is Mar AOE KD, Choppa channel. Unlike Order, there is no other options for frontline melee in the faction meta.

Destro meta: melee ball
Order meta: super tanks up front supported by ranged / WL spin.

Was also a holiday week. I am sure as soon as the pop normalizes, we will see WL back on the throne as they get bored of their WHs =p

I agree with you.
The Mele DPS patch is generally successful.
The most important thing has been achieved, namely the completely abnormal WL/Mara aoe spin.

I would change a few things:
WE/WH - something that would slightly reduce their damage potential and reduce the absurd number of ways to avoid damage and escape.
WE/WH outgoing heal debuff should be a skill from the mastery tree so that it is difficult to have two HDs (OUT and IN), or at least so that you have to sacrifice something from another tree. New outgoing HD skill and the current Kiss/Bullet replaced with another debuff.

Choppa/slayer - I don't mind the 25% debuff on yellow, but since most players think so, it should be removed.
GFDSS/SC - reverse the change reducing damage
Slayer ID - reverse the change reducing damage on the main target

WL - reverse the change reducing pet damage or limit it.

Once again, thank you Devs for your work.

Where's the compensation for WH getting Incendiary Shot to spam ranged executions or for WHs 25% Abso/BAL crit chance if you do that?

saupreusse wrote: Thu Jan 08, 2026 7:54 am My two cents regarding WE's (and WH's) kit:

I think both classes kits have gotten more and more overloaded since torque started experimenting with them back in the days.

- introduction of leap
- introduction of snares (outside of throwing dagger & pistol shot)
- introduction of restealth (and speed buff)
- stealth no longer breaks if the we or wh are spotted and attacked
- introduction of 30ft finishers for WE

This is on top of an already very strong kit that has goodies like 100% parry/dodge/disrupt and dmg immunities. A knockdown, an undefandable stagger + self punt, 2 heal debuffs and armor ignore.

My personal experience is that it has become very unrewarding to fight these classes to an extend where i consider some of their escape and mobility abilities unfair.

I dont believe stealthers should be able to leap, sprint and snare that easily and mythic has been very careful not to give them access to the mobility kits of other mdps - on RoR however they have it all.

Edit: my feedback regarding slayer and choppa: I think they should have less/no drawbacks staying in yellow

For me WH/WE still lose to any solo roamer in medium armour or better (if properly setup) which limits them to killing squishes. They do that well now, if you nerf them again then it'll simply be AM/sham/RP/Zealot/WL dominating the meta once more. I personally prefer WH/WE to be viable particularly when its for the most part against light armour.

If you think a WE is beating a properly setup WL or a WH is beating a properly setup Mara, at least from a solo perspective (which is what WHs/WEs do) then you're sorely misinformed.

Almost as good as people who post without feedback and instead just like to throw an insult because they don't agree, but without having the guts to suggest why for fear they'll be putting themselves open to scrutiny...
