6v6 SC
Re: 6v6 SC
Peter baned, last defender of 6vs6, so no more. And dont see nothing pro killing pug ppl with premade in sc. One sc for premade 6vs6 is fine. And bless devs for this change.

Wow. So many honnest reactions. Cause let's be honnest, it has never been about 6v6 scenario and even less about "competition" (of what exactly? ) . Never.
There are plenty of closed areas to organise 6v6 compétitions, without those ugly objectives or npc or killing buff. But ofc, in this case, sense of competition may have a different taste, according in this case it will be just about competition.
It is all about rewards. Only rewards.
And for the rest, Zaxxed perfectly summarized.

its a way easier to que for a 6vs6 sc instead of travelling to the an area and you have no stats after the fight. There are plenty of closed areas to organise 6v6 compétitions, without those ugly objectives or npc or killing buff
so does this mean no 6vs6 sc anymore?
Re: 6v6 SC
So do you play for stats in a chart or for the joy of pure 6v6 ?Mercenary wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 11:27 amits a way easier to que for a 6vs6 sc instead of travelling to the an area and you have no stats after the fight. There are plenty of closed areas to organise 6v6 compétitions, without those ugly objectives or npc or killing buff

There was once a time, when 6vs6 mattered. This is long gone, and today all that counts is mindless zerg and capping flags.

Arranging a scrim with other team is much harder than automated matchmakingYaliskah wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 11:03 am Wow. So many honnest reactions. Cause let's be honnest, it has never been about 6v6 scenario and even less about "competition" (of what exactly? ) . Never.

Latter gives you a match in a matter of minutes against anyone who's currently queued.
Former requires you to:
1) know the people who might want to scrim
2) know how to contact and arrange
3) have them be interested in fighting you in the first place (believe me top premades are not interested in stomping new noname groups that are way below their level, they can already do it in regular SCs)
4) arrange a time period when 12 people can play
And if you want to fight multiple differnet teams in the same evening you have to do all of that multiple times.
And it makes entry level even higher than now, since without queue not only you need to be on a skill level to compete, but you also need to know the people to play with
Its not about "rewards" otherwise people wouldn't be playing hugely popular competitive online games like League of Legends, CS:GO and others
We had two community-organized 6v6 tournaments this year. The only reason there weren't as many participants is because 6v6 entry level is very high
Removing 6v6 scenario "because people played it just for rewards" means that all premades are now reduced to pugfarming, which is easier, more profinable and more harmful to the game because it drives people off from queueing SCs
The reason 6v6 needed extra rewards was to incentivize new people to join the scene, not to keep old players interested who are 1) already top geared 2) can farm regular SCs for much higher profits

Re: 6v6 SC
Ok. so now all our competitive salt droppers, dropped all the salt they were capable of, lets give a serious answer.
No 6v6 sc haven't been removed intentionally, and unless future scenario rework force us to do it, we see no reason to remove it. Therefore, if the 6v6 sc is actuallly missing it is a mistake, well understandable -i hope-, according :
- There is an active event, and some scenarios are part of it, maybe one of those replaced it accidentaly.
- We are reworking Logrin's Forge scenario, and to exclude reworked version during dev/tests, some changes during live update have to be done manually, and again, we may forgot some datas.
Happy ?
Be assured, i take note about all your concenr in this thread, and i gonna do big efforts to offer you a wonderfull 6v6 scenario. VERY COMPETITIVE, with HUGE REWARDS. (directly deducted on your opponents).

Re: 6v6 SC
Thanks for answer yaliskah!
Reading about a rework of 6vs6 sc sounds exciting. Deducting the rewards somewhat from your opponents sounds hard to balance, but every change to the repetitive, boring gear grind you implement over the last year or so is welcome.
I am eager to see the changes.

Re: 6v6 SC
It's kind of odd that a few people made some really mild jokes about the 6v6 sc not being in rotation (which isn't the first time it's happened) and there is so much butthurt and projection about it.
Maybe it's the language barrier, maybe it's (ironically) arrogance, maybe it's Maybelline.
