DPS Tanks - From best to worst

Ib should be number 1

it has acess to all of its group buffs the class is naturally tanky and has good sustain with grumble and mutter opr can spec oathbound for very high parry

its dmg output is very good too

BO is higher than SM on damage?

I always thought SM would have better output since they seem to be better designed around 2H from the ground up.

stab you godder means that bo crits have higher spike dmg

I think Black Orc just does the most damage in general of all tanks, so that carries over to 2h. SM may have higher effective damage against armored targets since I think most Black Orc damage is physical while SM get some Spirit damage?

excepet for those 30s when kotbs stack EC with runefang

How is the damage during this period? In all my years of war I've never seen kotbs as a threat dmg-wise.

SM probably does more sustained damage due to double spirit resist debuff + most of his attacks being spirit. BO definitely can achieve highest burst.

If your targets actually detaunt tanks however, the BG autodetaunt tactic will make him the best DPS tank imho.

BO has highest dmg vs squishy targets in full offtard spec with crit tactic.
SM can deal high damage (for a tank) against all targets, because of stacking resist debuffs.
Then comes IB with stacking of dots and good sustained damage.

To solo kill stuff, take something else.
