Power Leveling after the gain rate change

So, I haven't seen anything substantive posted on the forums since the XP gain reduction was input. To those unaware, if you have a low lvl toon in a grp with a 40 farming high lvl mobs, the XP you gain is drastically reduced. Here is what we saw:

Lvl 1-5 about 300XP per r40 mob
lvl 5-10 500ish
lvl 10-15 650ish
lvl 20 over 800xp per r40 mob.

Took 2hrs to go from 1-20 on a site where I avg just under a mil XP an hour previous to the change. Guesstimating, that it would take approx 10hrs of grinding now to go 1-32. Previous, it was around 4-6hrs.

This is with a single R40 toon. Someday I will try out farming low lvl PQs in and out of party, to see if the XP/hr is greater. Also wanting to try maybe farming r10-20 mobs for the first 10 ranks, then moving up 5-10lvls of mob on each "bracket" achieved.

Note: This is not a complaint nor is it trying to discuss the change in any way. Just putting out what I have seen from it. My conclusion is that PLing is still efficient. If you don't WANT to play low-tiers for whatever reason, it is still viable to PL through it. It just takes significantly longer.

Also. 130+g and 18blue frags during the PL. I got **** on purp drops...

Ty for the post mate I made a comeback after a brake. I would say this was hardest thing for me because pwrlvl was good for me to get faster to t4 and enjoy playing with my guild. Now lvling is painfull I usually play at morning or evening EU CET time due to my rl job and duties and the rvr is dead or sc ques takes ages to pop and I lvl like 4 chars each side. I hope they will reverse this change to atleast get better xp then this. I have a guildie who always boosted me and taking 10 hours now is meh. I don't have anything against lower tiers only its waste of time for me and my guild won't debolster to t3 just to play with me.

I believe you need to work on your English skills. ESL is hard. But no, that is not what I said, nor anything even remotely close to it. I believe I was clear about that.

Might be offtopic but while you mention it, purple fragments basically never drop from normal mobs, which is a big change compared to live servers. ;(

I am aware of that. I meant Purple drops as in drops. Armor, weapons, etc. I got a bunch of dye, 0 purples. I normally get 1-2 an hr... There is no basically about it. Normal mobs do not EVER drop purple frags. Bunch of blues though... champ farming and breaking down weapons for frags.

I just wish the drop rules on fragments would be like on live.

We can see that despite taking longer it is still possible to skip lower tiers. It takes more effort to do so and you need help of a higher level char but I think this is just right. When you have higher level friends and they want to play with you in T4, they should simply help you. If you are alone, play like anyone else.

Dear player,

If you find RoR "boring" just don't play, other people enjoy it right now. The road to lvl 40 means you get used with skills/mechanic.

Sometimes it feels like slow leveling/renown but not boring at all bud.
