I hear a lot of people complaining about Scenarios being imbalanced etc. etc.
So here are my 2 cents on the topic, because we can all agree that getting facerolled isn't fun, or rewarding.
As of now the rewards are still nice if you lose 400 to 500. However most scenarios end with a 500 to 25 (or so) score.
Not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes.
Two ideas I have on the topic,
1. Introduce a role check system depending on spec. For example 2 tanks 2 healers and 8 DPS.
How you would go about it, I have no clue, because a lot of WAR specs aren't necessarily cookie cutter. Meaning, it's not your DPS spec, or your heal spec. It's a single target spec vs an aoe spec. Might be worth looking into though. Obviously queueing by checkbox wouldn't work because many healers would just say they are 'dps' and in fact be healers.
2. This topic might be a bit sensitive because it takes away realm pride, but here goes.
introduce a Team A vs Team B system for scenarios, where faction doesn't matter. As soon as you have enough players, a game starts. And you could have a mix of whatever on each team. Say a Chosen, a slayer, a witch hunter, witch elf, magus, and rune priest make up team A. and IB, Choppa, Engi, BW, shaman, and WP make up group B.
This would help reduce that feeling that order seems to have of Destro being way higher and better geared than Order. Be it true or not, that is how Order feels as a whole. Also it would reduce crossrealming I think. You like playing this class? Well that's probably what you are going to play instead of going to the opposite team because that's who's been winning SCs all day.
I know people will still cross realm for Orvr. I know that it isn't a perfect system, and I don't even know that it is possible to implement without a patcher, but I hope to hear some others' ideas on the topic. Scenarios don't impact zone locks like they use to on live, so it really is just personal progression more than anything. It would also create faster queue pops because a faction could go against itself if there is a low amount of players queueing from the opposite faction.
I know I will get bashed for this, but I really think it would be healthier for the server as a whole, and you can still have your realm pride in ORvR.

Re: Scenario Balance?
1 - already exists to a degree, and does check for tank/heal/dps.
2 - no, not going to happen
This is not a MOBA. There are not a million people waiting to play every match with a very small subset of that group being people in your skill range. The scen manager does a rudimentary check, and will fill remaining slots with whoever else is in queue.
