Less Lag Feedback Since Sunday

Last Sunday, there was reports of huge lag in caledor in the afternoon, but by time we started in the evening there was no problems

Whatever change/fix you made, it appears to be working, the game is a totally different beast to the previous week / year...

So thankyou for turning off the turn based feature, although a part of me will miss guessing what the enemy will be attempting to try, and which abilities we attempt to use actually work in those situations

In big scale fights, in fights at keeps and with lord engaged... the difference as been huge and lag is barely noticable compared too previously... good job so far.

PS. Don't overdose the hamster with PEDS :P

Thank Max, he found the kill switch that was forced on for no good reason. Someone implemented a variable several months ago but left it set to default instead of a value that actually makes a huge difference. Default being ~350 and current setting at 8000. Started working right away.

I, too, would like to add that the server frame rates here in the west coast of the US are much better after the change. I can actually set effects to Balanced/Party on my dinosaur in keep takes (mind you NA keep takes are seldom that big of an affair) without the slide show or freezing issues experienced frequently before.

Thank You.

Well done!

We had some decent fights tonight in TM and KV about 100vs100 and later on 80vs80. Barely lag, even during funnel at postern and main keep gates.
Looking forward to push the limits, 200vs200.

Thanks alot, keep the good work up.

Probably the best fix to give us hope for your future plans, with how it was nobody could see the fortress zones being playable. Now that's out the way its lead to some great large scale battles, several fights with 200+ players in and around a keep and it ran smooth.

Credit where credit is due, nice one Max :)
