Individual Class Forums

I searched on here to see if the individual classes have their own forums and did not find any. I know T1 and T2 don't need a huge dissertation on gear or spec optimization, but there are some new players to this game. If we want to attract new players, as evidenced by some of the "new to game" posts I've read, as well as attract some veteran players who might be interested in playing the "other side" but maybe want some help in being good at it, I think we should have class specific forums.

During the WAR period, I remember the WHA forums had lots of great information for research and builds.

If I missed them somewhere, sorry about the post. If not, I'd volunteer to help Mod the Chosen forums.

There's no class forums yet. I'd wager it's due to the T2 limit and no renown abilities - there isn't any real build variations right now. It most likely will come later on.

I saw this thread and assumed Shlomo created it. I'll +1 this idea. We need some place to move the orgy of pages in General to.
Word of Pain and Boiling Blood are no longer able to proc anything. The Bright Wizard College has confirmed this is a big deal. (stealth nerf)

I don't really think we need class forums, just a forums for discussion of game mechanics, and class builds etc...

If someone wants to make a guide thread for a certain class or aspect of the game's mechanics and it has enough merit and people asking for it to be stickied... then it should be stickied and can serve as something newer players should read first before making a new thread asking a question etc...

Having 24 subforums would be really cluttered and unnecessary I think.

I think it will draw out (back) some of the "great minds" of the WAR class paper tigers. Maybe bring back to the fold some of the players we'd like to see and fight again... as well as some of the others, but can't make wine without the dregs..

You miss the point Jaycub. The Class forums were THE place to better learn your class for new players and veterans alike. I know builds and gear aren't in the game yet, but think of how many Chosen don't have an effective strategy for floating their guard in SCs etc. There's a lot that CAN be covered and the need is there now and as you stated, will only be more needed as T3 and T4 get opened up.

Why not now? Clutter? Have you looked at the General forum?

You can simply make 2 subforums, both for Order and Destruction. Then further divide per class archetype. :D

You "laugh" or you are mocking me but is it not true? Can anyone truly dispute the points I made? Can anyone here deny that slayer could have been the best mdps class back on live if it hadn't been for op bugged Mara? If am wrong surely you could point out why and I will rectify my opinions.

I belive that every class here should be unique but at the same time should be just as viable as their mirror; look at IB vs Bg , both classes are very strong and effective at every stage of the game while not being op ever while still being great mirrors all the while retaining what makes them unique so if that can be like that for them then why can't choppas be "as strong" as slayers

Maybe I'm wrong and chops is just as good as slayers even if the former is kinda forced to only really do ST while the the latter can do AoE and ST well, I left after they nerfed da wrecka tree cause I couldn't keep shelling out $15 and I chose not to comeback cause of how little it seemed that mythic cared so I was never to see how all this really played out with rr100 and the t4 power creep
