Major class changes?

Been many years since ive played and got bored enough to check and see whats going on with RoR. Started looking at some youtube stuff, checking disc and here. Seems like there has been a lot of classes changes?

If i started to mess around again would for sure have to play the good ol witch elf again but from vids i saw people are running some defensive regen build? Also saw someone say throwing daggers no longer proc witch brew? Ruthless assault actually is something people seriously use?

How different is balance going to feel? At least if i played i think im already in my 70s so at least wouldnt be starting fresh but im just not sure my old play style would even work any more.

Nydig! Good to see you posting! I've just come back myself and am struggling a little in getting used to changes. None of the old Marauder builds are viable anymore either so I'm experimenting a bit...

Ahh thats kind of a trip lol. I would think all the old builds would still work but maybe not... i saw a vid yesterday that looked like this witch elf had pounce or something was just like wtf?

So is the pounce a talent or a base skill? Im assuming it has a cd but that kind of seems op

core, it's an opener so requires stealth.

Oh thats not that strong then i thought was just like charge or something we a way to get to kiting targets that knock you down or back.
