Why would anything need to be traded? Sorcs, Magus's, Marauders, in addition to whatever other escape and crowd control devices in their tool kit have a disarm. Imagine, a Magus holding a rickety little wooden staff can slap the greatsword right out of the hand of a Swordmaster but the Sword Master can't slap the rickety little staff out of the tiny little hands of a Magus because...reasons.

Re: SwordMaster
love the idea of the vortex pull. Could also be usefull as interrupt/make break los as it is right now.Aethilmar wrote: ↑Wed Mar 19, 2025 3:21 pm SM is pretty good as is. The M2 Wings would be nice to be 100ft again but otherwise it is a good trade off between it and Raze.
One area that definitely needs improvement is enchantments. Nature's Blade is currently the only really useful one. Phantom's Blade is situational and Heaven't Blade is pointless. I would suggest Phantom's Blade go back to shields and Heaven's Blade either have more debuff (like up 360) or go back to being a resist buff or something completely different.
Finally, I have long advocated for SM to have a tactic that would change Gusting Wind (an AOE punt of questionable use) into Cyclonic Vortex as an AOE pull. Not only would this provide some realm parity with Choppa pull but would annoy Destro to no end.![]()
I see use for it with pbaoe : 2 SM/2 BW(or 2 other PBAOE meleer, should also works), a bit like armies of choppa do it right now
would require WW to have decent CD tho.
