Step-by-Step Walkthrough:
Starting the Quest Chain (Getting the Starter Item)
Head over to The Badlands. You need to climb the mountain at coordinates 24k | 10k (the exact path is shown in the video). Wait for a flying Dust-talon Vulture (23+) to pass by, pull it, and kill it. It will drop the starting quest item.
First NPC Visit
Once you have the item, head to the Dwarf camp at Chapter 11 and find an NPC named Morek Oldor (coordinates 12k | 16k). Turn in the item to receive the next quest.
Hunting for Bait
The new quest requires you to get some meat. Head to coordinates 21k | 18k, find and kill a mob named Moonfang. Loot the quest meat, then move to the bait location (cauldron/trap) at coordinates 17k | 18k and place the meat inside.
The Final Encounter
Right after you activate the bait, a quest boss named Hero (23++) will spawn. Defeat him and loot the final quest item.
Claiming Your Reward
Return to the Chapter 11 Dwarf camp and speak to Morek Oldor (12k | 16k) once again. Turn in the quest and exchange your old tier 2 book for your brand new The Book of Boom vol. 3!
