What I love

[Xalon]

Whether you started with WAR as your very first MMORPG (I envy you), another MMORPG or made RoR your very first experience - there is so much to enjoy about this game that I hope you have a phenomenal experience!

There are a lot of MMORPGs I wish I had the time to play and immerse myself in those worlds, but my priority is the few that I have played the longest as there is still just so much I have yet to experience in them, including WAR/RoR.

1 - The Kickass Tomb of Knowledge - before WoW and others had these types of details in the game, WAR was the first to do it properly. We have this amazing ToK that lets us learn more about the world we are playing in, the characters we meet, the enemies we face, beastiaries, details on locations and towns, and everything else included in the game - through this amazing guide. Being able to stop and just read more about the lore or a character, right from the game, is amazing!

2 - The RvR (of course!) - being able to start PVPing as soon as you enter the game, is epic! Fighting enemies in the open, around battlefield objectives, then keeps and large keeps and forts and city sieges, as well as scenarios and even outside the lakes (if both sides have flagged for it) - there is a ton to enjoy. And it is so incredibly epic!! I like to switch between things - I'll do some RVR in a T2 area, then a T3 area, then a T4 area, then scenarios, then mix it up some more. Lots of variety!

3 - PQs and Influence - not only are there amazing PQs to enjoy that anyone can join you in, but we can get loot from completing them, and fill up influence bars which will earn us even more loot! Plus Lairs. I love lairs. Nothing like a cool cavern or cave where you find a mysterious baddie and sometimes you need to finish a puzzle in order to access that lair.

4 - like I said in #3, the PVE is phenomenal. It was underrated and barely promoted when WAR was live, and its amazing how the ROR team put almost all of it back to how it was, made improvements and even added new content including two massive cities with hundreds of things to do in each!!

5 - pve progression - with 6 races to play, you can have six different characters and each has its own unique PVE content to adventure through - you can do dungeons and lairs and PVP quests that are shared, but other than that, everything is unique to your race and you can also choose to do all 3 racial progressions on just one character if you wish! I love this!

6 - the community - some of the nicest, most genuine, excited to play, fun loving players are right here in RoR - without these players, our experience wouldn't be so amazing. So thank you to everyone who plays! Roleplayers, RVR lovers, PVE fanatics and more! Thanks for playing.

And last but not least, the full RoR Team. I do not know how you do it. To be able to work together and build this game up from just the code that was left behind - phenomenal work! The care and dedication can be seen in every part of this game! And to not only improve things, balance things, add new content and more, but to create some of the coolest and most unique Events in any mmorpg - I'm proud to be a player and I full support your efforts. I wish I could do more and will always try to spread the word about RoR!

RoR has a real future. And its only because of the RoR Team and the supportive players, that it has one. I hope we get to enjoy this game together for several decades or more!
