Quick bandaid for ORvR

THIS SHOULD NOT BE A PERMENANT FIX

As it has been explained to me there are no pity ticks for the losing realm when a zone is locked. Obviously fighting for hours or getting dominated by the Zerg only to have your efforts go unnoticed and unable to make any strong progression for your character either in experience, renown, influence, and medallions.

Why not add a pity tick, much like there was in live WAR?

Losing realm earns half that of the winning realm for all boons earned from zone locking.

This won't solve the Zerg problem but it will make it more tolerable when the Zerg is strong for those players who don't feel like rerolling to the majority or minority realm.

Obviously talks should continue on a new ORvR system if the developers and community feel it is necessary and until a solution is found. However, I feel this is only beneficial to player satisfaction.

I think everyone would agree that playing for multiple hours against a Zerg, without AAO, or even a real chance at earning some decent renown is a huge deterrent to continue partaking in ORvR or in general. The pity ticks would at least give the underdog a reason to stick it out.

it would not be an incentive to actually fight the zerg so it is useless

what we need is a system that splits up the zerg (like removing lock timers on BOs and only making keep door take damage as long as attacking side holds 3+ BOs)

you think a pitty tick for not fighting or defending or even doing anything will people bring to fight or defend or do something? ...

1 other problem any order players have 2-3 rr40 chars (order zerg get easy rr) but destro havent

Destro need aao buff or twice, 3 times renown

Destro died for honor and glory!

Could you stop complaining? Destro is zerging as much as order, they just fail to take keeps and disappear after a few wipes.

loser tick, ye, something was in original, but only for last rvr zone in t4, not for all zones, just only when all 'realm' was locked, losing side got some renown.
better is AAO, so u was even happy that u can get more renown then at keep lock, some kills with 400% aao and it was bigger then locks of all bo's and keeps.
Now we only have happy from kills for quests and tiny renown points, maybe sometime something drop
so it is not motivated to go outside warcamp and trying to fight against side which outnumbered

But wait t3 and you will see all disappearing order from realm like all major Maj . And prepare to see all complaining topic after 24h !

But yes this loser reward tick is missing for keep destro motivated and whit this we can grind our char a bit.

What has t3 to do with the current situation. Open warbands fail the same in t3 as they do in t2.
Guess why ppl zerg. Baddies in great numbers are still a force.
Dying is no option.
