As it stands right now, there's only one viable spec for SW, which is skirmish. While I happen to like skirmish spec, it's unfortunate that the class be pigeon holed into one spec for one reason - the range on skirmish abilities.

As it stands, full well half of a SW's repertoire is limited to a 65 foot range (72 in scout stance.) However, that extra 38 feet is crucial, and is largely the reason why scout spec is disfavored. While at full range, a scout spec SW cannot use their DoT, heal debuff, or snare.

The fix for this is pretty simple though. Currently scout stance increases the range of all bow attacks by 10%. Instead, I propose that it increase the range of all bow attacks to 110 feet, which is the range of all scout abilities in scout stance right now.

This proposal will be declined, this buff would enable the SW, who currently dominates the range battlefield to apply all of its critical utility beyond chosen, magus and zealot stagger and the mara pull bar a stationary magus.
