I separated this part from long explanation why its needed. This part will be shorter but much harder to write, cos ilustrating the problem is much easier than to fix it.
So list of all fices that in my opinion whould fix class in general.
2h spec:
Tactic with hastened doom just wont work. 1k wound cutter is good only in mass variant, and to make it work u need hard invest tactics into monstrous rending hate decreasing. Also crit trigger is very bad for 2h bg in rvr def build. In st mara and we already have more potent wound cutter, in aoe chosens have it for free.
Posible solution - rework tactic into flat boost of armpen and atack speed. U can tie it to hate spending if it need activator. Bg need near 60% total armpen to be viable, only armpent skill he have is murderous wrath, but to do his job he must no stop cycle all his arcenal not just it, so armpen is needed for all skills not just one.
If mass wounds shred mechanic is needed, add its part on monstrous ruin tactics with 25%chanse to trigger, so bg can go into blob and spend his hate on aoe that will make good impact after 3-4 uses.
Filled with fury, is also need to be reworked to hold longer, cos basically it just critboost only for channel with 5 sec of time, and only after hate spending skill. Activator is good, uptime need to be increased.
Armor shred - its near as good as mara and doks in 2h, but in snb its just too weak at 100 hate, its near 800. Would be great if arm reducing of this skill would be 1200 at 100 hate in all specs.
Pitiless strike - skill just bad. It eats ton of hate giving in return one of the most common efects ingame. Id like to pay that hate for normal potent efect like 150 WS boost for me and oatfriend. Both BG need it for doing dps, and it continues logic of armshred-toughshref-ws-murderous spam to boost work with fat target and will make bg far valuable in eyes of dps.
Snb spec:
Middle tree is good only 1 thing in it i dont understand is 30 sec on block channel. Borks have same skill with 5 sec cd. But i dont see tanks with 100 block as healthy mechanic in general. Would be good to make both skills to give 25% block on 10sec cd. If needed u can boost reflect dmg of it, to make minigame "dont hit into this skill without interupts or suffer".
In terms of tactics i would, swap places parry and tougness boost tactic, parry tactic denies normal acces for dps bg into rigth tree, and just too good to skip it.
Rigth tree, would be good if it provided more utility for oathfriend (yes i know its dark protector) in such ways.
Elite training should be moved into 5 points on place of choking fury. Efects should be reworked into 20% parry/dodge/disrupt/ +150 ini on oatfriend buff after original efect for 10 sec. This would make excellent protection button in addition to force of fury that works not only in smallscale situations. 30 sec cd long enough for it to not be abused.
Choking fury is very potent dayruining skill for any heal in combination with soulkiller, but it coud be countered by pots and ap pump very easily. 50% timer increaser on it would it make it perfect as antimagical tool that should be cleansed asap.
I would also want to have ap pump for oathfriend like ib have but i just dont know where to put it, maybe some small regen after mindkiller use.
As for winds they have good place in snb, where u sacrifice antiheal stuff u dont need in mass rvr for them.
Those changes, in my opinion would be finally making BG working NON toxic, class it should be - elite warior with glaive and strong protector in shield. Not something u dont want to take, but u have no choise because of winds and crimson death.
P.S Only one maybe toxic thing i would liken to ask - make a slightly bigger angle on exile. It just bring pain when people deny punt crushing into flower 1ft away.
