I think a timer based on IP would be a good start, and yes you can change your IP but I don't think everyone will. I think it will get the majority a small minority will still switch sides.

And nobody has ever really addressed the counter: Ban multi accounters. Except for that one guy that goes "Please no my girlfriend/boyfriend/brother/roomate/dog plays this game also from my house". And even then there can be exceptions worked out. A few people will get around it but not most.

Yes, of course. The people on the same IP is "no argument", merely "crying". Like the people specifically posting just in that short-lived thread about such issues. Your wording in there ("Except for that one guy that goes "Please no my girlfriend/boyfriend/brother/roomate/dog plays this game also from my house".", "all you did was cry about the 'consequences'") pretty much shows the real problem here: you just don't care about the people who will be hurt by your awesome and grand idea, since you won't be. And anything anyone says is completely irrelevant. Only a crossrealmer would point out such problems in the first place, right? Because it was your idea and thus perfect.

I'm pretty sure the ROR staff is focused on more relevant stuff :^). Is it annoying sometimes? sure. But if you can't adapt, then that's on you. The server has always been like this and it has worked just fine.

I am one of those people that have toons on both sides. I love Order, will always be Order biased, but I love playing destro and have many good friends there as well.

Just because your pug wb or sc fails, is not my fault. I can spend the whole day switching back and forth. One SC on Destro, one sc on Order. IT WILL NOT AFFECT YOU IN THE SLIGHTEST!!!!!

Originally there was only one realm allowed. Servers became really one sided affairs. On one server Destro ruled supreme, on another Order. Really there was no way for the underdog realms to do anything, that is how bad it got.

Then came dual realm and aao. Funny thing about that, and I see it here too. People will switch to the realm with AAO, till the winning realm turns into a losing realm.

Leave things as they are. Let people enjoy their game. Best part, neither realm wins all the time. There are hours when destro is zerging, then there are hours when order is zerging. Or do you want your realm to zerg ALL the time?

I never said my idea was perfect. You just didn't post anything relevant. And yes, with as much zeal you defend xrealming with I can only assume you do exactly that and are heavily biased. Also, now that I have pointed out how vague you are being the only point you cling to is the one I have acknowledged, people legitimately playing from the same IP. I have stated a possible solution to this. But I digress.

What I tend to notice is when the defending side is fighting against a team with AAO, "what I tinfoil conspiracy believe." is that people log from defending a keep to go attack a keep. Also noticed you don't get a defense tick! CORRELATION?!?!
