What OS you got? Did you follow the guide to make sure you got all the prerequisites and make sure the launcher is inside the WAR folder.

Have you downloaded the game?

If you're using the torrent, it should be in the "Downloads" folder. Which is in the Documents folder.

Put the RoR launcher into the game folder and double click it, to launch the game. Enter your forum credentials to log in and play.

can you use your original install discs or are you forced to download to get the right version?

if you CANNOT use your original discs i would suggest putting that in the "getting started" post since there will most likely be quite a few ppl with this issue

not sure if the launcher is supposed to update the game version but currently it is not doing it for me with an original install so i am downloading the game thru the links.

No, you cannot use the original game discs, as they are not version 1.4.8. There is no official FTP server to push old clients to the latest version (like on official game server). You must download the latest version found on the forum.

2 - Game client
You need to have a Warhammer Online game client v1.4.8.

If not, follow this link to know where and how you can download it.

It seems pretty self explanatory there.

I also added in my client thread that it is the only game build that is compatible with this emulator

The launcher does not manage the client. It allows the user to bypass connecting to the official server, and connect to the emulator. However, there are sometimes updates for the launcher, in which case the launcher will receive an update push from the author (Jefawk).

i've downloaded everything and done everything in the steps but whenever i open up the launcher, it just says the server seems to be offline... I don't know what's going on?
