Offhand weapon dps

Is offhand weapon dps matter? Or just count his stats . For example, 52 dps offhand weapon will do greater than 44 dps? Assuming that the statistics are the same.
I did some quick tests and the results from them that offhand weapon dps does not matter.
Hurub Chopa 80+ / Wybrany Chosen 80+ / Mroczniak BG 60+ / Alubercik BO 50+ / Doczek DoK 80+ / Hurubek Zeal 80+ /
Misio Shaman 80+ / Maxra Mara 60+ / Alubertus RP 70+ / Alubert KTB 80+ / Mnich WP 60+ / Kregi SL 60+ / Uposledzonyjez IB 40+

off hand dps matter when you off hand weapon auto attacks which is like weapon dps times 0.75 or something

it matters espically for classes like say mara whose brutality stance proc has its offhand weapon auto attacks on every strike and increases its damage by 25%

so yes it matters

Offhand dps is calculated with ~46% together with your mainhand dps on skills as well if im not mistaken.

Offhand dps only counts for AA. Dmg is reduced by 25% and only have something like 50% to actually swing if i remember correctly.

Just tested it and what i said is correct. Offhand dps gets calculated with a 0.45 coefficient into all skill applications.

Posting to confirm you are wrong. Classes capable of wielding an offhand receive skill contribution from that offhand. This is guaranteed if both weapons are melee. In the case of a range slot / main hand combo, contribution is skill-dependent. Some bow attacks use the melee weapon's weapon DPS in addition to the bow's.

Speed is only determining how hard the AA dmg is going to be, but does not affect skill dmg.

I haven't tested how it works here but on live off-hand weapon dps contributed in a number of different ways.

1. It added 45% of the weapon dps value to all abilities for dual-wield mdps classes. The damage formula was:

ability's damage before mitigation = base value + (main hand weapon dps value + 0.45 x off-hand weapon dps value + damage bonus) x effective cast time

(effective cast time is a multiplier. Its value depends on the ability being used.)

This same formula applied to ranged abilities on SW, SH and Engie. So off-hand weapon dps added to the damage of ranged abilities on those classes.

2. Off-hand weapon dps added at 100% to melee abilities of SW, SH and Engie. Main-hand weapon dps does not contribute to those values. So the formula was:

damage = base value + (off-hand weapon dps + damage bonus) x effective cast time

3. It contributed to off-hand auto-attack damage for dual-wield mdps classes.

From what I have read on the forums, the devs are using the same formulas in ROR. But I haven't tested them in game to be sure of this.
