Do ironbreakers get dual wield?
Do ironbreakers get dual wield?
okay, so i've been looking for cosmetic versions of some of my ironbreaker gear for a while and i've noticed that most every one-handed weapon has "off-hand" in the description which seems to preclude it being used as an alternate appearance. is there some reason for this, like in high tiers ironbreakers unlock using two weapons at once or what?

Only female ironbreakers can use two weapons - That's because the devs won't let us become slayers

If the weapon is Ironbreaker only, and it is flagged for both hands, it should be reported on the bugtracker.
If the weapon is Slayer only, and it is only equipped in the main hand, it should be reported on the bugtracker.
If it has no class restriction, it should be either hand.

I think it says off-hand because it can be used by Slayers as well?

Re: Do ironbreakers get dual wield?
Depends on whether or not the item is Ironbreaker only. If it has no class restriction, we can hardly assign them to be either/or, they should be usable by both in the main hand regardless. It just causes a logical mishap on basis of applying appearance, however, since some Ironbreaker axes are main-hand only while the bulk of neat looking weapons are for both hands; thus not usable for appearance on a main-hand only weapon.zabis wrote:I think it says off-hand because it can be used by Slayers as well?
Basically, all Dwarfen axes/hammers should be Either hand, even if Ironbreakers cannot wear them in their off-hand. That's what their shield is for.

Re: Do ironbreakers get dual wield?
this seems to be the case. looks like dwarf single hand weapons largely don't bother with class restrictions, and just have race restrictions, which makes ironbreaker single handed weapons with alternate appearances pretty rare. even the influence and renown rewards just say dwarf!RyanMakara wrote:If the weapon is Ironbreaker only, and it is flagged for both hands, it should be reported on the bugtracker.
