You win some, you lose some, but at the end everyone wins as a nobody gains from a two-hour lag-fest at a keep where people just stand stationary and funnel each other. There is no denying that this is a valid tactic, but it is also ultimately boring and the easy way out as it requires little or no skill against equal numbers.

I cannot tell anyone how to play their game, and I have no intention of doing so, but I do hope people get out of the keeps more. Yes, if you are outnumbered... Use a funnel as a valid defence, but there really is no need for doing it when both sides have more or less equal numbers on the night.

I love the feeling of move around in the lakes, hitting a WB and then suddenly getting that rush of adrenaline when another enemy WB moves in on your flank. The manoeuvring, the positioning and the tactical play is what makes it worthwhile. Sure, you may get less kills than funnelling and your e-peen may not look as large on the zone kill list, but moving around in the lakes requires more skill and with every wipe you learn and hopefully get better as a WB.

Funnelling is so 2010, let's use the lakes as they were intended!

Other than that, nice to see a lot of Destro out again. Balance is somewhat kiltered in favour of Order often, but I do hope more people will play Destro again. Also props to Bitterstone, always love seeing your role-play events. I even got in on the act and randomly quoted fantasy fiction novels, much to the dismay of my whole guild. :-)
I completely agree!
I want to note that diespite of destro population we are the only organized guild and in orvr usually we are alone, and you have much more organized forces including strong Russian alliance. this we sometimes very offensive to attack in the minority. All of this together to get a big enough challenge for one guild PF.
p.s. I'm sorry, my English is not very good, I hope I wrote all clear :D

Kings Own tries to bring balance to the force.

And not the usual weekday: First side who has a zerg ready wins the day and captures empty keeps two hours.

For me it seemed to have worked.
But I was a little surprised when the Bitterstone was suddenly alone at the early destro keep. :)

And Pornfactory got us several times when the pugs decided it is the perfect time to run away. :D

The KO side-switch actually worked well this time, breaking the stalemate keep siege and pushed the players out into the open fields and BOs.
Yesterday was quite fun indeed, even though had to leave rather early and missed out on some fights (GMT +3). Distinctly remember an epic 3-way assault in the Passwatch keep, two great fights near Tower and a heroic destro counter-charge at Feitens.
I think yesterday everyone fielded at least a 6man in RvR, quite a lot of guild/alliance warbands were present and even the dwarven RP event. Thanks for participating in it, regardless ;)

Is it ok to make a server-wide "RvR Tuesday" every week like this? :D

Need to not be afraid to use the manpower of the pugs, what we have been doing in every game since DAOC, is set up a full wb or two of guild members or alliance members all on voice chat,

Then we would have 2 members break off and form two separate warbands of pugs, but still be coordinating movements with the main alliance warbands over voice chat,

Which normally worked well, since wed have a couple fast moving skrimsher groups out in rvr to haraess the other faction, while the main guild warbands along with the support of the pug warbands being led by guildes, coordniating with main wb over voice did the brunt of the work. you alays have some that don`t listen, but that is normally a small percentage.

even if 75 % of the pugs in your wb listen you can still be effective, most of the pugs want to help and be apart of the fight, but lack direction, having them being led by your members working together over voice coms, gives them that direction.

sadly none of them are playing war anymore, they are all in gw2/eso, and black desert, waiting on unchained to release.

Mustering up peasants is great and all, I even do make open warbands myself from time to time - but don't expect them prevail where the cavalry is needed :^)

After reading your comments I have a few things to add :)

Lesti: We didn't disappear from keep, we backed off but our push was way too premature and PF spotted us and retreated back into the the keep before we could get to them. After that attempt we knew if they could stay in the keep for 3 hours. They would. So we logged destro and made sure that order pugs saw they couldn't attack it by taking a BO.

Butcher: If you don't wan't to get rekt so much please use 1 wb. Not 6-7 groups. Their is NO WAY you used 1 wb last night. We used to have a lot of real nice fights against you guys. But then you just got bigger and bigger.

DirkDaring: No chance we will ever grab pugs and move around together. The pugs are usually in dead or shitty guilds and need to sort themselves out. I'm not here to spoon feed lazy people who don't like guilds or prefer playing alone.

That is the thread where you will see which guilds are in alliances on Order side.
Almost every alliance there can field 1 WB between them.

Correct , that is why you have your premade small skrimshers groups out there as well as your main alliance WB , the pug WB `s being led by your guildes, are there to boost numbers, and tie up enemy WB same as infantry, while your main force carries out the objective, and your premade skrimsher groups, cause misdirection, and harass the enemy, and take out weaker units .
