fail to factor in how many things you need to get that damage (5k is a bit much with current gear, so not sure where you're getting those figures):

* 20% damage buff from pet (5 seconds having been stationary);
* to be in range of the target to get Surge of Insanity off (a lot of the time targets will be out of 88ft);
* target must be both spirit and ele debuffed;
* you have to be stationary the whole time while doing this. in a fast-paced environment, e.g. most PvP, it is very hard to get the rotation off seamlessly (I play a Havoc magus exclusively and it is very hard to keep up with a good sorc/squig herder).

u will dont come often to that situation but if than its op .
so give magus more st burst its nor fair i think .
There are rly other options to buff magus
5 K is not that much Boc 2000 soi 1000 vf 800 all These come instat in same Moment and ifoc 1000 one sec later

Yeah but it's very difficult to pull that off as often as a squig or sorc can pull off their rotations, is what I'm saying.
And I agree that there are other ways to balance the magus, and I am looking forward to balance forums to discuss them.

You are pretty much a turret to do that kind of dmg. While a bw or sorc can do it every 10s stationary for 2gcd.
