@ Navis, if you make keep takes ridiculously hard, you will see a desolate NA community, unfortunately we don't have the players that you see in EU times to force a requirement of 2 WBs.
@Maldach, Co-ordination is the key, BOs play a critical role in the progress of a keep siege, if they are not effectivly defended, then the keep siege will last forever. Communication between the realm is key. At least, that is what I see from NA time. Usually there is not enough emphasis on protecting the BOs.

I like your ideas.
I personally hate that it's grear progression that drives people and not the thrill of the fight or realm progression. If it were up to me i would let people buy BiS pvp gear from a vendor for 20 gold and have the the renown be the thing you fight for and eliminate the pvp gear imballance from the game. Id make PQ's/Dungeons/Quest be something you do for alt appearence items. But thats just me.

You can not have just a game where all you do is fly into a zone, ride to some spot, fight, die, respawn, ride to spot, fight, die, respawn, adnauseum. I know the "IJUSWANNAFITE" crowd loves it, but it is boring as hell.
T4 is not t1. It is not an endless fight in a small tight restricted space that you forced into. T4 is about strategy, T4 is about tactics, T4 is about outsmarting the enemy, taking zones, and advancing to the city, to get RR and Gear!
Yes, GEAR!. If my side is smarter than your side, we will have it, and you will not. Some of you call it an imbalance, but it isn't. You could have the gear too, if you just stop riding around aimlessly looking for a fight, and work together to take not just one zone, but entire pairings.
Granted, at the moment defending is easier than attacking, but the RvR system is not finished yet. Wait for the system to be finished before judging it and asking for gear drop increase/reductions/or anything.
As for the loot rolls, they had always been random. A person who earns one RR point has almost the same chance of getting a purple bag as someone making 1.000 RR points
Remember, WAR endgame is City! People want city because that is where you should get the best gear in game, not some vendor!

Yeah this is what i mean driven by gear.
It would be easy to just rework the city seige to be a place were you fight to give the winning team a buff that gives em renown bonus for the next 48 hours or something. This would actually encourage people to go back out fighting. On roadkilrobin about the gear, first thing first the drop chance of hands and boots should be increased it's too low right know and we are talking about the base rvr set of t4, if you want to not make it grid then do not treat it like the end gear contenent, ppl will have the focus on rr farm now so that's how it should be, the gear is the base to be at least a bit competitive in rvr, the ammount of time you need currently for obtain annihilator is exagarated.

Keep lords and the NPC's are just there to prevent anyone from soloing it. I don't think the NPC should be relevant to the defence tbh. I think they are massivlly OP in t2

I presume you are in the guild "time", Morkilla you make some good things in RvR, and there are some others good players who share real RvR info and give some good way for the T4 RvR event but...
To lock a RvR T4 zone, currently, some good leads and strategy yes but is not a real strategy you deal with the ZERG.

With all respect fort You, but Imao i have cooperation, teamowork, communictaion in RL. And i have ENOUGH of that - in game i seek fun, relax, freedom and thrill. Problem with attack keep is that Keep attacking = Chinese Wall building. Resolve this problem is return of rvr from last days of original WAR.

If you remove def ticks, most keeps will be undefended which I think gets even worse. We want fights and keeps are a good place to fight, it's the last stand for that zone.
As the game looks right now, everyone wants to defend. So much that a lot of ppl walks to keeps they think will get attacked in a while and builds AoE siege weapons. If you look at the top RR of the server, many are doing just this. The reason they do it is that the siege weapons deal so much damage and gives so much renown and works much better for the defenders. With 5 of those shooting at approximately the same place, it will deal 3000 dmg / 5 seconds (on 18 players), which is a lot. With 2 healers in your party it's possible to handle, but for every non-ideal party this can be too much. To fight other defenders at the same time makes it too hard to stand in range of the door. If the siege weapons and oil would be dodge-able, you could handle this with hold the line.
I think some things works pretty well in the RVR lakes, but the siege weapons are still too strong. I had no clue that ppl thought the siege engines were weak before as I still found them pretty strong back then.

And this is exatly the problem there was in live outer is harder than inner cuz funnel and when inner going down keep is taken, no one def.
Even more with 1.4.0 that you have not reset time after keep and you canot reclaim it in 5 min.
