Client download issues and troubleshooting

I'm getting the same thing, out of nowhere.

I was playing a few hours ago, ran some errands, came back, and now I have an unresponsive connect button.

I was finally able to connect after closing and reopening the launcher several times.

So the game launches, but the black text box on the right doesn't print "connecting to server..." etc?

okay so i finally got the files unzipped. but i put the launcher in the file and turned the entire file off of read only and when i go to log in i click connect and it waits a few seconds and then says invalid username and password. is my login different than my forum login? i dunno whats going on because i'm positive i'm typing it correctly. thanks for all the help. hope to get all this working soon

Server is currently offline, so this will be the error you'll get because of it.


Just have to wait until it's online, and yes, your forum credentials are what you use to log in.

okay so now the file stays on read only. it doesnt even try now. dunno what i did different but when i click apply on taking it off and click okay i go into the file and it sets to read only again

So I downloaded the game Via the Torrent. It downloaded the entire game (10+GB). It never gave me an 'install' option. I can uninstall it.

I place the RoR Launcher in the same folder as where the game was Downloaded to and try running it. I enter my information and click connect and nothing happens, at all. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: Just read that apparently the servers are offline. The main page says online. I'll see what happens later. It's funny cause I installed because another game's servers were having issues tonight....

So i have gotten a new computer and its running vista, i have tried downloaded it many times(using anything but crome because ive been told that does work), and i get it to the point of opening the login and then poof... tells me that im missing directx, but i have downloaded that aswell and put it in the folder. i have removed the read only stuff from the folder... i downloaded via the torent and the cloud links... i am at a loss... can anyone help me? i made a post about this thinking hat maybe it was that RoR isn't compatable with vista, but im being told that it should be fine.

If you install Teamviewer and let me know, I can have a look.

Hi. Im Skalier. I have some problems with my PC. Looks like my IP adress is blocked on this site and can enter here only from my Phone. I deleted, removed a game from my disc and now need to install again. I know this not looking good:)
