Re: Mouse Suggestions
I can't see the price on that (unless I'm blind) and Dr. Google says the previous year on that mouse cost around 75 bucks... Assuming this one is close in price, that's much too high for me.

Re: Mouse Suggestions
Yea it's around 70$. You pay for quality in this case, and after many other gaming mice from a variety of known brands, I would definitely say this is the best one available and well worth the price.Twyxx wrote:I can't see the price on that (unless I'm blind) and Dr. Google says the previous year on that mouse cost around 75 bucks... Also the reason the price is not shown, it is perpetually sold out and somewhat difficult to find/purchase in the first place. Performance leads to popularity I guess.
Re: Mouse Suggestions
There is a deal on the Logitech g303 for $24.99 right now. Pretty decent mouse for the price.

MMO Razer Naga hands down bit of a learning curve but awesome and so much ease of play once your used to it. as mentioned above the can get dusty but a can of contact cleaner and some air and my son is still playing with the one I bought when the Naga first came out, I would be but I wanted to go wired would drink to much and forgot to dock it
with my second one i'm sitting around 3 yrs on it and havn't had a single prob yet. a lot of options out now but i'm bias to what I know lol
anyhow good luck

anyhow good luck
Re: Mouse Suggestions
Sounds like it'd be nice Labotimy, however the only thing I'd pay more than 70 bucks for that isn't important would be Beyoncé tickets
And I will check that Logitech thingy, thanks!

Re: Mouse Suggestions
Might be overkill for a lot of players, but I love my Logitech G600. Twelve thumb buttons means all hotbar skills are reachable with just my thumb, no need to reach for number keys with my left hand. Hotbars two and three just require you to hold left alt or left ctrl. So basically, my left hand is just for movement. Aside from the thumb buttons there are also other programmable ones on the face to you can assign other commands such as cycle targets, your morale skills, etc. easily.

Re: Mouse Suggestions
Logitech G600 and razer Naga are kinda the same thing with different ergonomics. The G600 feels more comfy in my hand and the last row of the pad is easier to reach than the one one the naga.
Re: Mouse Suggestions
From personal experience, from best mouse feel, to longest lasting.
Personally my favourite mouse is: Razer Naga 2016 - It feels super good in the hand, and has an additional 12 buttons on the left side of the mouse, easily bindable to anything in every game. I often played Diablo3 or League of Legends with it, without ever using the keyboard, so competetive play (hardcore seasonal in diablo) with only one hand (: - Biggest downside is that it doesnt last very long. on avg for me, Razor mice (Naga, Deathadder, Diamonback) last between 3 months and 9months, until they break. Super expensive compared to longevity.
Currently I use a Logitech G400, It lasted for 2 years before i started my razor spree, and after my bank account started to have less money, I've gone back to it. after about 3-4years of total use, it has reached the point where its held together by tape(yes tape, lol) but it still works with no problems(had the same piece of tape on it for a year now). It has got a +dpi and a -dpi button built in, so you can change mouse sensitivity on the fly, depending on what you are doing, I havent used the feature in Warhammer yet, but in games such as counterstrike, I used low to medium dpi while regularly aiming/running around, and when I scoped with a sniper, i single or doubleclicked the +dpi button, and had an easier time scoping around as your aiming is slowed down while scoping.
Logitect MX518: A lifelong friend, even among my other friends. Sadly it is super hard to come by, as the logitech g400 have taken its place on the market. MX518 and G400 feels exactly the same(I say it, so does all my friends) However, MX518 lasts for a VERY long time. Since release, a few of my friends(hardcore gamers) have been using either 1 or 2 of them. Reason why I used the G400 at all, was that my MX518 disappered, and I couldn't buy a new one at the local store.
If you do not want a nerdy 23button mouse, I highly recommend the Logitech MX518, if you can find it, and if not, the Logitech G400 is the same, but lasts for less time.
Hopefully you can use this, if not - Good luck on finding yourself the mouse that fits you! (:

Re: Mouse Suggestions
You are wrong, but your opinion is very common. All the people who you see using that gear use it only because they receive it and are paid to use it (I mean the people who seriously are into e-sports), just like football players receive their football boots. Professional players will use the simplest input devices and play on lowest details even on high end gaming equipment as in multiplayer it gives you hell of an advantage over the enemy who plays on ultra, especially in FPS titles.labotimy wrote:If you buy cheap peripherals, you get what you paid for, trash. Cheapo brands/models, and even gaming variants by well known brands like logitech, in my experience never measure up to the more expensive competition. The standard when it comes to mouse peripherals in E-sports level of competition, should be considered the best. If the pros use a specific product consistently, you know it works better then the competition. Razer and Steelseries are pretty much top dogs when it comes to the E-sports scene regardless really of the game genre. Typically MOBA/MMO players will use Razer Naga's, and FPS players will go with a RIVAL/SENSEI.
I can't say that I've tried any MMO mice before, so no experience there, but when it comes to FPS mice Finalmouse>Steelseries>Razer. Nobody else can compete. I don't think I can actually ever go back to any other mouse, Finalmouse just blows the competition out of the water by such large margins.
If your gonna pay 1200$ for a gaming PC to begin with, 70$ for a reasonable mouse isn't that big of an expense.
As for the mouses you specified what can I say? Personal opinion, if you feel like you really need 17 buttons on your mouse to play a MOBA game where you use max. 6 buttons that's up to you. I myself think it is quite stupid to waste any money on such faulty equipment as razr's naga. I do not know any person who would be satisfied with that product, yet on the internet people praise them and every single "gamer" uses just that one.
The most important in a mouse is to lay good in hand, and that's the determining factor when you are buying one. Then simplicity is your ally. "gaming mouses" tend to cause a lot of problems, most of them lag related and freezing/stutter, so very often they cripple your performance instead of actually helping you.
When you are playing solo: buy all the most expensive stuff you want.
When you are playing competitive multiplayer: go for simplicity.
