Without guessing who did this because I don't know, I always thought the bans shouldn't be made public. I think that can add to the embarassment and make them more salty. But I understand they want us to see they are stopping exploiting/harassment. Most other games I've played don't share the names so I think that's for a reason.

No. All an attacker needs is to get your public IP. Then you're vulnerable.

The public ban section is not intended as a name and shame. It's intended to stop banned players from spreading lies about how and why they were banned.

For the most part ban's are passed out by the staff with good reason.

There have been a few odd cases in the past, but most people just don't know when to shut the F up, hence they get removed.
