hi! i'm sara[or a bunch of different names to encompass the multitude of characters i have]. i know how it is to have anxiety or at least a similar mentality and it sucks a lot.

..i don't think i've ever posted on the forum before haha

i haven't joined a guild yet on any of my characters and i either play solo or play with my dad. it's pretty hard for me to join a public group unless someone invites me or it's for orvr/keep sieges
but maybe i'll see you in the game some time! even if we never interact

i've played MMOs for as long as i can remember and i definitely play a good variety of games. unfortunately this variety makes it so that i spend my time across multiple games rather than gitting gud at one. i also draw, read, and write among other activities

also i've spent way too long on typing this so i'll just post now

Nice to meet you Sara! Well, I'm glad you posted on this thread Anxiety is terrible and annoying, it does suck, doesn't it??

I see, well I do hope you find a guild that suits you, and I'm glad to hear that you play war with your dad! I do too I understand, but don't ever worry about joining a warband for orvr! They're always open for you and everyone!
I hope we see each other! I'd love to do scs and orvr with you.

I see! Having variety is always good! What games have you been playing lately? Do you focus on one more than the other?

I don't feel forced! More like I wanted to do it. It's okay though, thought I'd try coming out of my shell a little bit.
It really is and it's okay... I'm trying baby steps! I might try out therapy, so hopefully that'll help.

I would recommend it. I've been in and out most of my life, it helps. Each person is different, but I found group far more productive than individual counseling. Then I realized that at the end of the day... It's one thing to know the root cause of an issue, or to be cognizant of how something is affecting you and why, and another entirely to be able to actually change the pattern. But anything is better than nothing. GL!

That's what makes War such an awesome game. PUGing is enjoyable. I find that I can't dedicate blocks of time due to RL, so guilding or regular grouping can be hard. I tend to group up with individuals that I know more than a guild. Don't worry, you'll find a guild or group. You'll get to notice the same players in SCs/ORvR, give 'em a wave and say Hello. It's the community that makes MMOs fun.

Gimme a shout in-game sometime(if it ever returns). I'm normally on dabart or siyrel. Always happy to help PL quest or just group up. And your Dad I guess too. That seems pretty cool actually...

I don't have either any more... but as for games... Well I am an old school gamer... I started with MUDDS in the late 80's, Then in the 90's I played Everquest, then SWG (Star Wars Galaxy), then WOW and so on... I have played so many games including WAR when it originally realeased, Wildstar, ArchAge, SWOTOR, Black Dessert... So mostly MMORPGS but I also have a collection other steam games.. <DVS>Moldred.... Been a Moldred since 1988... but I also will use the names Mawi (MawiLynn) and Manoa.. That is my gaming predigree.

I've actually never heard of those games other than WoW : P hehe. But that's really cool! Do you still play all those games?

Tired, It's almost 4 AM and I'm waiting for time to pass before work. And praying they're going to add the Elves as a faction to Total War.

Also was trying to recall what friend I made last in Warhammer, pretty sure it was an orc choppa so overexcited about destroying a keep gate he screamed "Me first me first" on a public TS, not expecting the quite literal wall of Ironbreakers.

At first I figured he's absolutely dead when I saw him go in, turns out he was surprisingly tanky and actually managed to stay alive, I was his personal healbot from then on, although I didn't main my Shaman.

All random stuff aside I sincerely hope you meet people understanding of your personal issues and also I very much support the therapy you're going through. Both my younger brothers take "medicine" for their social anxiety and tbh, while yes they seem to cope better they can't get back off the medicine, atleast not from what I've seen.

I used to be heavily addicted to Codeine, due to severe chronic pain but I got out of that about 9 months ago, and while yeah the pain is worse I feel a lot better overall, the pain is managable, atleast after many years it is.

I'm around here and there should you desire casual conversation.

Can't recall where I read it, but I'm pretty sure some rep from the dev team said that TW Warhammer is the first in what will be a trilogy of TW Warhammer games, so IMO you can be pretty much assured that Elves will make it in.

Take that with as much or as little salt as you like, though.
