I did some things listed her, dunno what helped exactly, but with a ltitle fiddling and long time windows know how, I got the game to work. So far I have just adjusted settings, and am ready to play. Many thanks!

Hello, I played this server a couple months ago and absolutely fell in love but was unable to play again until now. However when I downloaded and installed WAR and launched the launcher from the folder i get the following message -

Try replacing your launcher with this unpacked copy

Whoops sorry, but thank you so much!!

However now I am having another issue. I was having trouble actually connecting and getting login messages to pop up so i Installed a VPN and am using that. Now though I get to the server select screen but the text is stuck on "Locating Battles..."

Hi team,

I've an issue to start the game. These are the steps I took:

1. Downloaded the Client via Torrent
2. Copied the Client to an other Folder
3. Removed the readonly flag of the Folder and each Files
4. Downloaded the Launcher
5. Copied the Launcher to the Clientfolder
6. Started the Launcher as Admin
7. Inserted my credentials and clicked the Connect-Button

The game trys to start but I got the following error message:

"Kritischer Fehler: Wahrhammer kann nicht direkt gestartet werden. Führt stattdessen die Datei warpatch.exe aus, um das Spiel zu starten"

"Crtitical error: Warhammer couldn't start. Run warpatch.exe, to load the game"

Any suggestion, what I did wrong or which step I missed?

Check that the RoR launcher is inside the game folder and War.exe is present. If it still doesn't work, try downloading the game again.
