Don't see a reason to do this other than trying to be an nuisance.
Pretty much always afk or tabbed out.

Oh come on, we rolled in there once and said a bunch of crap for fun. We didn't camp there and stop people from doing the pq. It's fun to show up with an entire warband once in a while. Try it out before saying anything, I say.Druin wrote:Don't see a reason to do this other than trying to be an nuisance.

It's the same when you hid in LoTD to gank the farmers later, funDruin wrote:Don't see a reason to do this other than trying to be an nuisance.

It's not, LoTD was a RvR area.Combi wrote:It's the same when you hid in LoTD to gank the farmers later, funDruin wrote:Don't see a reason to do this other than trying to be an nuisance.

Personally I think it's fun to show up with a warband at an enemy PQ, but you have to realise people are there for the PvE. As noted before, people get flagged in the Eataine warcamp as it's the easiest flight destination, and it causes people to be flagged for PvP even though they have the intention to do PvE. As it is an Order only PQ, it's sort of rude to stomp people who stand no chance against a full warband. The same goes for Order people raiding Destruction PQs; the choice to partake in PvP at a PvE spot should be the player's voluntary decision by flagging themselves.Collateral wrote:Oh come on, we rolled in there once and said a bunch of crap for fun. There are also PQs in the world that are focused around fighting the enemy realm's players; these shared objective PQs such as Kron Komar Gap in Mount Bloodhorn are a legitimised place to band together against the enemy; killing them so they can't complete their objective, while your realm can.
All in all, war is everywhere, you can get killed anywhere as long as you're flagged, but the PvP flagging needs to be corrected so that PvE players don't get as stomped as easily and often, in my opinion.

ORVR servers you were flagged 24/7.
LotD you were flagged 24/7.
This is a part of the game imo.

Re: Destro are... mean?
I still don't see your problem. But that's because I played on pvp servers in every mmorpg, and ganking was a normal every day procedure there. And also because the maps had shared quest zones where you could bump into the players from the opposing faction. War map desing is very bad imho, almost completely seperating the two sides, but still if it's red, it's dead.Druin wrote:It's not, LoTD was a RvR area.Combi wrote:It's the same when you hid in LoTD to gank the farmers later, funDruin wrote:Don't see a reason to do this other than trying to be an nuisance.
