Theseus wrote:Ok, I leaded a WB yesterday and today. When I gave orders, I mostly was just being ignored or the people did take their sweet time to react. Dont get me wrong, I dont mean all the people here. There were some who did follow orders, but just not enough to win. So I just wanted to ask, why you even join a wb? It seems it is not to coordinate or to help each other out winning.

I did lead, even whole raids on the live servers so I know how it should be. And here it is not as it should be. So I think we should discuss that to make it better.

I leaded on order side, so i only can assume wether it is just as bad on destro or not.

P.S: Sorry if I am ranting on, but I really questioned why we even have warbands yesterday.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THE FAULT IS ALWAYS WITH THE LEADER. ALWAYS.

Edit: Woah Dresden! too harsh!

Tip list.
1: People who run off and do their own thing. Kick immidieatly
2: Healers in dps specs. Kick, they don't really belong in PuG warbands
3: Tanks who doesn't guard dps or stick on their Guard Warning then Kick.
4: People who go Afk, Kick.

This is basicly the same filters that Guild Warbands have except that guild warbands check for optimal group setups and synnergy specs to

But if I am made leader I just expect people to obey as long as they want me to lead. And yes I of cause will send people to places where is no fighting if a BO has to be defended. And I do not care about their renown and medalions, because we will get more if we take the keep as if we lose, while fighting pointless battle that evolve from unprotected BOs.
You can't walk in expecting everyone to follow you right from the beginning. Leadership is something that is earned. If your making the right calls, if your group is succeeding and not dying, then people are more willing to listen. If your constantly making bad calls and mistakes then don't expect people to listen to you.

Nork / Blue / Thelen / Dabart they get it. Success yields followers. If you have a group of 12 and the enemy has 2 wbs, you should be ganking the zerg, not clashing with it head on.

It would be nice if the warband assistant thing worked to help with group management, but it doesn't currently. Get a core of 6-12, the rest will follow them. If they don't... boot em.

Look people I do get all of this, I also get that if someone new tries to be leader, people will be more sceptical of his calls. I get that. Really. But there we get into a circle, withoutt following orders there wont be success, without success no followers and without followers no success and so on and so on.
So my suggestion would be, anyone who takes the burden of leading a wb should have an advance of trust. Simply because he tries to do that unthankfull job.
