So far I really like the changes. The only issue I got is some classes not being able to detaunt at that extreme range. But if you got a sniper crew, that single target detaunt don't matter much anyway. You gotta use Hold the line technique's to mitigate sniper crew's which isn't that popular but can be done.
Wishlist:
I'd like to see the Engineer get the range buff as it currently is in the experimental form but no additional damage buff, just the regular 20% buff from stacks like it was before. Just reduce the percentage of stacks for the engineer to meet 20% at 8 stacks. Or have the damage stacks stop at 4 or 5 but the additional stacks only affect the range.
I'd like to see the magus get the damage buff as it currently is but no additional range buff just the normal range amounts previously.
So quickly, the engineer would outrange the magus but wouldn't have the damage bonus of what the magus can do.
This gives the classes a little more individuality AND is a little more inline with the original design. Magus didn't have the deamonic reach tactic originally, that was conducted for more mirror pushing. If that doesn't get implemented, whatever not a big deal just thought it would be cool to have some minor differences. I really hate mirror pushing.

Indeed. We took away your mobility and your spammable heal debuff with this patch. What were we thinking?jorgemarco wrote:Saying Magus/engi are not OP is offensive. I like experiments with classes trying improve the game, im agree with that. Now we know the buff is excesive. Classes like my SW lost any sense to be played since Magus has that extremely long range.

So you're comparing the Shadow Warrior - a class with excellent mobility, AA on move, a spammable heal debuff, a ranged knockdown, melee capabilities and an escape tool, aoe snare, the ability to spec for the hardest hitting ability in the game when utilised with VoN/M2 correctly, leading shots and very good pressure DPS - with the Magus, which at this point has rift and an ability that can hit you from outside your detaunt range - provided you stand still for 16 seconds (a problem that requires you to, y'know - move a few feet to overcome)? Kden!

Re: The Magus/engi buff
Would be very appreciated if instead of generalizations like 'we know the buff is excessive' you can actually provide some reasoning behind why and in what situations it actually is excessive, else you are not going to get anywhere. Especially as you say that you like experiments , maybe you could share those with us.jorgemarco wrote:Saying Magus/engi are not OP is offensive. Re: The Magus/engi buff
We will know that the buffs are working when there are as many nerf magus threads as there have been nerf SW threads. There are now three distinct RDPS careers to choose from on each side.jorgemarco wrote:Classes like my SW lost any sense to be played since Magus has that extremely long range.
