Reducing CTD while at keeps?

It's been extremely bad for me lately, pretty much 100% guaranteed that I will crash to desktop at a keep once or twice. Either with no error or C++ runtime errors.

Things I've tried
>disabled every single mod except enemy and buffhead
>Repaired every single C++ distributable from 2005 to 2013 both 32 and 64 bit versions
>Play game in borderless windowed mode

Settings, I run everything at max except for effect on party only.

System is Windows 10, AMD CPU/GPU with latest drivers.

Can graphics settings cause crashes even? Is there anything else I can do to possibly alieviate these crashes? I know everyone crashes, but it seems like I do it at such a high frequency that going to keeps or playing in an RvR group just seems pointless to me right now.

This for me has become a real problem as well. I normally have no problems until the keep lord is engaged. I rarely go to keeps because of this issue.

FWIW I was getting crashes with effects set to All. Set it to Warband and have not had a crash since. Fullscreen and no mods installed.

i may be wrong but it seems there is a problem around keep + some not top GPU , seems like the client is updating in video card to many datas and video card it's jsut too slow and game crash due to problem between gpu and client....

It seems something like this which never happened on live anyway even in lag situation.

Irregardless of your computer specs, try running video settings on "Fastest framerate". A lot of people in our alliance have succesfully reduced the number of CTDs at crowded keeps by doing this. Might work for you as well.

I think the crashes happen because yet most packets sent between server and client are not translated by the dev team. There are many unknown bytes the server can not handle at the moment that can make the client crash or disconnect from the server.

Switch so that all the spellcasting effects shows on you or party only.

Most crashes are related to warband and player's inventory packets. Now that these packet have been fully decoded, its only matter of time until ror code is updated.

Thanks, can you comment on graphical settings? Can crashes be related to them?

Possibly, there are multiple reasons for CTDs. Server keeps packet logs when CTD occurs, so we are aware what caused most of crashes, its just matter of time until we can get to it.
