War - Hardware / FPS / Performance

I'm years that i play with my laptop on war, this is my pc:

i5 2450m dual core 2.5ghz
geforce gt 630m 2gb
6gb ram dd3

my settings in game are fastet framerate with skill effects activated to all, the screen resolution is windowed 1366x768 (max), with this setup i go around 25-30 fps but not 100% fluid, yestarday i changed some settings from nvidia panel and i go with like 5-10 more fps, the cpu go at 78-80+ degrees  during the summer 90+

Now i'm buying new pc medium-high components (not laptop) so my question is: what settings and pc configuration are you playing? And how much fps do you have in game during sc / rvr?

I know the game is not optimized but i can't believe i can't play with good fps even with low settings! I wonder if with the new pc the things will change a lot :D

Just bought a new computer myself and set on "Oh shiny"
used to play on fastest framerate on a laptop as well.

I did not even know there was grass, and lights :v

This beeing said, i can know play with full graph without a single lag, even when the zerg roll on me.
Though i am gonna change the animation from "All" To warband. Because i am not used to see the spells from both sides, and its a bit too much and messy for me. Especially all those shiny heals and sorcs spells.

I think you can now definitly play with full graph, but the game is still crashing, no matter what computer you have.
Gwelthas : WL 86 The Eternal Host
Gwelthaz : IB 86 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers
Gweltaz : SL 83 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers
Ashitakah : SW 82 The Eternal Host

Gwelth : marauder 80
Gwelt : BG 81

Thanks this helps! I think war full settings is underrated , i really like the grapic but i never enjoyed it. Can you see normally how much fps do you get?

Sooo i get my pc but still with integrated graphic (intel hd 530) , i noticed many graphic "bug" specially at high/oh shiny details. I play well at fastet framerate but really sucks. Now i will buy the Rx 470 i hope to fix it :D

I play on an I7 laptop 8g ram with SSD harddrive. It has an integrated card, and can play on medium-high levels with lights and grass, and get 50-60 FPS, although some of the zerg fights like in KV north keep will slow to a crawl. I would think with a new video card you will be set!

I had graphic glitches too but it all went away if i ran in windowed mode.

i7 6700
Geforce GTX 1060
16gig ram

and i run capped at 99fps tho sometimes i have heavy fps drops making my screen freeze every 5 seconds for like 0.5s but thats game related i think.

And ofc in big keep fight my fps drops to 10 XD

I made a short video a while back where i recorded framerates at a keep fight (on the left). Left my specs in the description and in the last few seconds of the video :) yes it was laggy as hell ^^ (and i crashed before the lord died)

I just got a new PC but it's more high end,
Intel Skylake 4.0ghz, 16gb DDR3 and a GTX 1060.
I get like 120 fps in SC and 45-60 in big fights on full settings with forced AA even while streaming at 5k bit rate/60fps. And I never have problems with crashing even with my old PC.

EDIT
Okay yes, you're correct, i was just estimating from memory, i went and looked at some of my streams, and it seems i was a little ambitious with my estimates xD. In RvR battles i see drops down to 15-20 fps, and 30-40 in sc's. But thats on max settings while streaming.

I rendered this in 1440p, and sadly the GTX970 series will crash the game as soon as more then 3.5GB Vram are being used (thanks again Nvidia).
one question: isnt war locked at 100fps? i couldnt get more than 100
