You got the better end of the deal. I am stuck with a crew of mostly bearded men.Haojin wrote:yes, i formed phalanx with bunch of slave healer pervs.Kragg wrote:Is that how you formed Phalanx?Haojin wrote:act like a girl and beg for powerlevel.![]()

Bearded men who are heightly challenged.
But I'm actually with Haojin.
Of course we help new players in the depths of lvl 10-30 with our talisman grinding groups.
But joining a guild and then asking to get power lvld on your lvl 2 char is not the right way. Show that you are capable to do some stuff on your own till lvl 11 and then you know if this is your class.

Yeah I ended up making a Warrior Priest and I'm level 10 but absolutely loving the hybrid gameplay. Doing oRvR is a ton of fun and I can't wait to get into t4 to help out some guilds.

Re: Best way to Level?
Here's just my personal opinion: don't powerlevel. It's all fun to get to 40 right away but no matter what people say about Ruin gear, I feel like the lack of renown rank really takes its toll.
I have 3 characters in t4 and few more that are just about to be and all of them have appropriate renown ranks, I did it quickly purely through orvr and a handful of SCs and I only play during NA primetime when orvr is "dead" in lower tiers. I use quotes because deadness has not been my experience at all, particularly in t3 which you can now access at level 16 thanks to the t2/3 merge. Sure, its slower that PLing but you'll actually learn to play your class and it still goes by pretty fast. I only play about 3 hours most nights and I can easily get a character to t4 in about 2 weeks, 3 tops.
If you're interested in leveling this way and you want to try out a Destro class, feel free to come check out Who's Savvy Now. We are always recruiting active players, most of us have characters in all tiers so you'll have other people to play with, and we have a great alliance. Come hang out in GameVox some night (server is Divided We Fall) and see if its for you.

Re: Best way to Level?
Oh awesome, Destro isn't my thing right now, I'm really enjoying my Warrior Priest atm. If I do end up making a destro character I'll be sure to head over, I've been doing strictly oRvR and a few scenarios to get the 2 set from the recruit medallion(?) vendor. So far so good I think, the only problems I'm having now is what gear is the best. I'm level 11 and pushing for 16.CegeePegee wrote:Here's just my personal opinion: don't powerlevel. Re: Best way to Level?
It sounds like you're on the right track
In t1 you'll want your Decimator set (which you are already working on) and you'll probably also want the weapon(s) from the scenario emblem merchant. Also don't forget about your influence items from Nordland, that will give you a ring, a belt, and another weapon should you find that the sc weapon isn't what you want. Lastly in t1 there is a helm you can get from a lair boss, just ask in /5 for a grp and someone will come help surely. Early t2 will be an awkward phase gear-wise bc most ppl choose to orvr in t3 instead (the tiers are combined) so you'll be getting influence gear that you can't wear yet, but you should get enough scout's medallions to pick up your Obliterator set before you're high enough level to wear it also and that's your t2 rvr set. Or at least that's been my experience.
WP is def fun, I main on a DoK and I love it!

Re: Best way to Level?
Honestly just RvR or Scenarios. Its VITAL to level up renown as well as your main level as most of your equipment is renown based, also you need to grind those emblems and medallions asap.
