Well when he tried to post the screenshots that would suggest such seems he got a 1 day ban on the thread. I just want to see if the vendetta stuff really is true because that's what I've been seeing...

Yep, there's two screenshots early on in the appeal thread. Nyky posted them, playing on Teinhala's account? Or perhaps they've been saving them as some sort of reverse blackmail bit to distract from whatever happened at the time. They were moderated because they were not relevant to the appeal, just like the other posts that were not relevant to the appeal. Those are the sort of things that should be brought to me directly, and we can work on GM relations all together like a happy family. Not thrown around like weapons when you're caught. Wrong place wrong time.

Imagine, if only we had worked on those issues between the three of us before this appeal were processed. Alena surely would have still reported this issue and performed the ban. Such is her duty. Would those screenshots have made a difference if they were taken care of properly in the first place?

Because honestly, whatever you're implying that you didn't get banned for, probably means you didn't deserve to get banned for it in the first place. We're not monsters. The vk RoR site however hosted account/gold sellers for several months that we know of and gathered evidence for. They would happily be doing so now had we not laid out the initial demands.

This was in reference as to why we started watching the site in the first place. Moderation has been poor but existing since then, merely removing posts, but no posting of links to our rules or banning many of the people offering. What it came down to was having to ask for specific posts to be cleaned up at first, and I'm not sure any were banned outside of the one that Teinhala mentioned. From what I understand, any offending posts were generally left up for a day or two, which to me just smells like your favorite account/gold seller had enough time to pick up his customers before the posts were removed. But that's just a possibility, we don't act on things like that. The real reason is that you're not as active on the site enough to catch them.

Still coming at this from the wrong perspective Nyky. Didn't you demand to be banned along with Teinhala? I believe some of your fans were wondering why you hadn't been yet. Reconcile our differences if you want this issue to be resolved. You're still fighting the good fight I suppose.

Here comes Morf who has personal problems with about half of our staff. Hey buddy.

Not at all, there are only 2 staff members which i have a problem with and i can admit that, that doesnt mean i will have a problem with them forever, i dont hold grudges, i have had alot worse problems with ppl in rl where we have in time made up, thats what adults do.

Also sadly i cant scroll far enough to ss past messages but i would often jokingly offer to buy ingame stuff for real money, doing so in chat channels full of staff members, they all knew i was joking and i was responded to in a jokingly manner, every staff member who has been part of the team for a year+ or so would im sure remember these times where i would say these things to lighten the mood or make someone smile, i dont expect any staff to have the integrity to accept they saw me saying these things but it happened and i struggle to see how a message aimed at being a joke is suddenly used as evidence, i could get quite a few players, staff members or myself in trouble if i were to ss jokes that could be interpretative the wrong way and used out of context.

This type of punishment and the authority shown by some staff members is having a massive negative impact on the community, i really hope this changes sooner rather then later.

Literally the same rules for the past 2 years now I guess. It's a pretty nice server to play on compared to most hives of filth out there. We have not changed much, but I've considered shuffling the deck.

Also, being in the staff chat is a privilege, it's also private from the outside world, and messages do disappear after about 10 days. We talk and joke and say things that certainly would not be said in public channels. Alluding that something said there would be held to the same standard as publicly on the forums is a little silly. But anything to make your point right?

Seems like it would be just a little late for that, don't you think? It's been up and running for a couple of years, they've probably accumulated all 4500 RU players that are active on VK. Not to mention, it just leaves the same collective of people continuing to do what they do, and now free once again to sell accounts and gold as they're no longer under our watchful eye. Why would we concede to that outcome? Seems a bit strange to me.

Also, I like replying to this thread because it tells me Great Job in big letters every time.

Also, the machismo "Ban me too" thing is a bit childish, don't you think? I don't want either of you to be banned. Just trying to keep order around here. Help me help you to help us all.
