Sigmar's Grace, abuse or intended?

Sigmars Grace is a WP buff, that increases Wounds by 76 (or more) for your whole party and heals for the amount it increases your HP. 2s cast time, 5s CD and costs 35 AP.
It is not reduced by anything, including, but not limited to, tactics and (de)buffs.

Some WP's started using this a fairly strong way to heal.
You can improve it with the SM -5s CD buff even more, and get insane 4560 hps on your group with focused mind.

While i don't mind that it actually heals for the amount of HP buffed, it did not heal on live.

But right now it starts being a problem, since there is no counterplay, you can use it without a single point of willpower and any heal reducing tactic you want to.

As example of the sheer amount of healing I present you this sc statistic:

With at least 450k overheal by just two WP (ab)using this.

Healing more than half of your healing with the same Buff is definitely not intended, in my opinion, but maybe there is a reason I don't see.

This might at least get some more attention than Bugtracker entries.

First things first: posting a scenario's recap doesn't show much. Maybe next time post combat logs or a video/frames/screenshots of ingame use of Sigmar's Grace by the WPs.

Then, bear i mind that 76 wounds means only 760 hp every 5 sec, with 2 sec of cast time...not a great deal imho.
Furthermore remember that Sigmar's Grace is in the dps spec tree, meaning that takes 14 mastery points to be acheived, whereas touch of the divine (heal AoE) is in the Path of Salvation and performs way better (1 sec cast time, 1.5 sec cooldown) and can crit.
Secondly, speccing relying only on other classes makes your spec poorly reliable, making it only situational.

Maybe a video showing the exploit would be better.

Have you ever tried pushing an order grp? YES THEY RUN BACK TILL GUARDS.
The WP was mostly MAX range and since he does not need to do ANY actions on the front we were barely able to touch him.
Not even talking about the 2 AOE slowing KOTBS...

But, your supposed to focus the IB, knight, then wl's Lion. That's pro style.

WPs are using this because book no longer allows them an AoE detaunt, so you got some spare points generally. Nothing wrong with it.

Maybe learn a strategy that isn't simply a variation of "Charge!"

I thought it heals once and then
next applies are just refreshing timer.
maybe i'm confused with other game's wound buff.

The numbers you see from scenarios are very misleading. The spell gives you +760 to your max wounds and then heals you for 760 wounds. You can reach 50k+ healing on the healing done list before the scenario even starts, without doing any true healing.

Really if anything its inflating egos and teaching very poor habits. I have seen plenty of WPs just spam it all SC long and boast their healing done numbers as if it means anything.

Bahahaha this comment was quite hilarious, especially since I'm still salty about fighting 16 destro with a 10 man and they would continuously kite to their warcamp when they were losing, we would back off, then they'd try to pick us off by zealot staggering us as we started to mount out.

And... You know BO has AOE slow too, right?
