could someone explain me why warbands should use rift magus/engie ? rift already a gimped ability and disabling rifting people from z axis is a really bad idea. it will cause rdps blob on keep walls and pewpew people without any threat.- Rift/Magnet defense checks now include a Z-axis check for being pulled much like Pounce/Fetch does.

I disagree. Mara/WL is mdps and it's understandable gimping their utility but engie/magus designed around rift/magnet for warbands, gimping it more will definetly gonna kill the class. What can rdps defenders do, when attacker tanks spam HtL?
This of course goes in both directions.
Pulling someone off of keep walls is just cheap kill delivery.
